Windfur nodded. "I agree. Better safe than sorry." Windfur's tail swished as she glanced over at unnamed. "We need a name to call you... Tap once if you want Berrystar to name you, tap twice if you have a name you want to use, or tap three times if you don't have a name but want to think about what you would like to be called."

Unnamed lifted her head and got to her paws, then tapped once. She wouldn't know how to get a name across even if she did have an idea, plus she didn't know how the names worked around here. Besides, there wasn't any particular name she wanted overly badly, so she wasn't too concerned. She would be happy with any name. Plus, it would be nice to have someone give her a name, as most kits were given when they were born. It was like she was being born again but into this clan, and to signify it she would also be given a name.

Berrystar thought for a moment. He looked down at the cat, considering his many options. Juniperpaw sounded nice, and so did Pebblepaw. His eyes lit up when he had the perfect name. "How about Silentpaw?" He asked Unnamed.

The young cat couldn't help but grin at the leader, the amusement clear on her face. Without hesitating she nodded her head. It was perfect! It fit her like a glove, so to speak.

Coleusfoot had taken a nap near the front of the warriors den and was now waking up with a loud yawn. He moved his legs out from under his stomach and yawned a second time stretching out his long legs. He swung his tail to his side and began making his way across camp. He looked over seeing the leader was back, though he was busy talking to other cats. Coleusfoot's yes glazed over the strange kit he didn't recognize. He raised a brow but kept walking by making his way to the fresh kill pile. He sat down in front of it, his tail twitching from side to side. He lifted his paw plucking away pieces of prey so he could get to the small little vole on the bottom. He hooked it with his claws and moved it from the pile. Coleusfot stood up and walked over a few feet from the pile and sat down and began eating the vole.

"No, its great for a mouse", she replied, "the apprentices will probably enjoy it." She crept out of the bushes and stalked around the trees into some lighter brush. She sat still within the tall grasses and waited for awhile for something to come in. Her tail gently waved between some of the loos grasses. A small bird flew down from the pink trees onto the ground. She flexed her claws her tail stilling as she waited for it to get settled. It fluttered down picking around at the ground. Lionflame smiled and leaped out of the brush towards the bird. The bird let out a shrill call and tried to flap up, Lionflame almost missing it. But she moved just in time her claws dragging it down by its wing. She quickly killed it. She laid it down in front of her, "Lets get heading back." She flicked her tail and walked past him, "We can take these to the pile and see how Arrowpaw and Blossompaw are doing."

Sagespark looked down at the little kit, a proud smile on her face. "Creamkit, how about this? I'll let you rest for now, and maybe tomorrow we can try again? If you remember and are doing as good as you have been so far, I've got a cool thing to try that I think you will [i]love[i]."

After saying goodbye to the kit, she looked around camp, unsure of what to do. Noticing Coleusfoot sitting near the freshkill pile, she padded over and grabbed herself the little mouse she had brought back. She then dragged it over to where Coleusfoot was and sat down, folding her neatly around herself as she did so. "Heya! How was your day?" She asked, wanting to talk to someone but unsure what to say.

Shallowpool smiled at the leader. "I think that's quite fitting! I think she looks a little tired though. I'll go get some moss to bring to the nursery, if that's alright?"

She padded over to the fresh kill pile then stopped, "Maybe I should go out hunting." She thought. The apprentice soon went off into the woods, without anyone knowing.

The old cat purred in agreement with Shallowpool. "I can help with the moss if you'd like, as long as that's okay with Berrystar and Silentpaw."

Sunpelt

The tom nodded. "That sounds good to me. I've had enough excitement for one day." He picked up his catch and started to walk back with Lionflame.

Berrystar purred at Silentpaw's response. He was glad that she liked the name. He listened to Shallowpool and nodded. "Yes, that sounds good. I'll go find Amberpaw and ask her to get some herbs." He mewed, then padded off into the forest. He tried to pick up a scent trail, but it had vanished. The rain, which had recently begun to slowly drip from the sky, probably washed it away. He ventured through the forest, searching for Amberpaw.
