Evening yawned, stretching her body out from under a thick bush she spent the past few hours under. She was hungry after her nap, so the kit set off to find something to eat. She was used to dry kibble and the occasional wet food, but had always dreamed of catching her own meals one day. She was lucky they didnt want her anymore. Now she had the freedom to do as she pleases.

Larkfoot gave a quick nod and excused himself, laying down in the center of camp to bask in the sunlight.

Dewstar padded out of the camp, hoping to relax more by going for a nice stroll through PoppyClan territory. But, as soon as she stepped out, she came across a strange scent - not a cat from any Clan in the forest, she could tell. Following the scent, she finally approached the loner and confronted them. "...What are you doing on PoppyClan territory?" she mewed, trying to avoid any potential conflict.

Evening was wondering about, stopping to sniffing the air for any interesting scents. A few minutes passed and a mouse darted out from its hiding spot near her paws into a bush ahead of her. Her instincts took over and she leaped head first into the foliage, her rear end sticking out. The youngster was much too busy trying to find the mouse, who already escaped through the other side, to notice the older female cat approach her.

As she spoke, Evening jumped, startled by the sudden voice. She quickly turned to face the she cat, fur bristling with a mix of wariness and aggression. "What's it matter to you?" she challenged. She didn't know much, if anything, about the clans. She just knew these cats out here were "wild" and she didn't really know what that meant.

The fur on her back stood on end as she noted the other she-cats aggressive tone. "Many of our clanmates wouldn't take too kindly to a loner taking our prey," she hissed. "Or...attempting to take our prey."

Evening rolled her eyes. "What's a mouse or two." wait. Evening tilted her head slightly...The she cats previous words just now registering "Is that what you guys call yourselves? 'PoppyClan'? " She had always been curious about these wild felines, but no one wanted to tell her anything when she used to talk with the other kittypets. All they would never tell her was that they were dangerous and couldn't be trusted.

"Yes," she replied. "PoppyClan. We were named after the field of poppies just outside of our camp." Dewstar's muscled relaxed and she sat back down.

Cloudspots dipped her head."yes i was looking for you.we need more burdock root (hope i spelled it right!) I was hoping you would come with me to get more?" She narrowed her eyes at her apprentice.

Dovepaw listened quietly. She nodded her head. "Of course I will go get burdock roots with you. I didn't know we were running out."

Sandpaw didn't quite know how to react as the apprentice jumped on her back. That would definitely stun an enemy. She quickly got her brain back and spun around, swiping at Ivypaw's legs. If she had her claws, that would have stung. She made sure her hind claws were sheathed as she pounced towards the apprentice. (you decide what happens to make it fun. It feels kinda like playing Ivypaw when I say what happens when she pounces.)

Rowantail sat by the elders den relaxing in the sun. She loved watching the camp from the elder's den. It was always a way to see everything.
