Fawn snapped awake, realizing that she must've nodded off. Luckily, it had only been for a few minutes. Huh? She could hear distant meowing, and froze in fear. Other cats? What if they're like her? She willed her legs to move, soon moving along at a considerable pace. She could hear the roar of a river nearby, and headed straight towards it. "Hey, old Oire," she meowed, diving in; she had given this river a name. All of her worries were washed away by the coolness of the water. Living here would be great... I could catch trout and drink water at any time! Fawn swam through the water, finally finding the opening. Soon, air pockets formed, becoming more and more frequent until she arrived at a cave with no water in it. "My favorite place to lounge," she grinned, plopping down with a wet plonk!

As we padded into camp, i couldn't help but let out a sigh
of relief. Things always seemed a little
better, no matter their actual condition, when
they happened in camp. Shaking
my head, i brought my mind back to the
task at hand. "Alright...we better set her
down....slowly. Very slowly." I murmured, gently
sliding Shadowfrost to the ground, and folding
my legs underneath me.

Windfur gently laid the deputy on the ground in the medicine den. "She'll be alright, won't she?" The old she-cat asked Tangerinetail, her tail flicking nervously.

"Fishing is easier to me then hunting rabbits." She continues to lead Arrowpaw to a good stream, that always has fish. She would then emerge into the bank of the stream, taking a deep breath.

"Ooh, it's pretty here!" Arrowpaw grinned, darting around looking at everything.

Fawn closed her eyes, ready for her daily doze. Just as she was beginning to drift off, a series of quiet thumps alerted her. "H-hello?" She scrambled to her paws, eyes darting over every dark corner. Sounds like it was above me, she thought. She carefully padded towards the entrance of the cave. Taking a deep breath, she dived into the water.

Fawn's head broke the surface of the river, gasping for air. She paddled towards the shore, dragging her tired body across the land. Nothing like a good swim.
