Fadedpaw stopped by the medicine cat den and poked his head inside. "I could help gather some herbs with you, Berrypaw." he suggested.

"Oh thank you, Fadedpaw!" She replied, genuine gratitude in her voice. The black and white she-cat checked the herb stock. "Hmm... I need some more dock and burnet,"she meowed. "Come on, I know a good place to start collecting herbs,"Berrypaw said, beckoning Fadedpaw with her tail to follow her. She starting to pad to the camp entrance.

Fadedpaw followed after Berrypaw with a smile. He had nothing else to do, so why not collect herbs even though he wasn't medicine cat or medicine cat apprentice?

(Basically, Moontail and Firestripe are talking at the entrance of camp and Firestripe stuggests to go hunting after Moontail mentions it but Moontail declines because of his broken paw. Pansypaw found Arrowpaw and Mysterypaw and accused them of killing Smokepelt [they didn't]. Pansypaw attacks them, Mysterypaw pins him over, Scartletwhisper comes and explains that they hadn't killed Smokepelt. Pansypaw is let go and pads back to camp. Arrowpaw ends up with a twisted paw from his attack and Scartletwhisper and Mysterypaw help her walk back to camp. That's all I can remember so far.)

Pansypaw: Pansypaw trotted into camp, a bit lopsided from the attack. He padded to the apprentices den and sat there licking his wounds. Maybe he could frame his wounds on Mysterypaw and Arrowpaw.. but Hazelwing would probably believe the older apprentices. He shrugged to himself, wincing as he layed down on his pack, facing the roof of the apprentices den.
