He didn't know who it was, but it did smell like her. He darted along with her, and if that strange twoleg caught her, he could most definitely fight. "Look! A small cave!" He shouted, entering it. The hole was small enough for a cat to get in, but not a twoleg. "Get in here! It's safe!" The cave was big enough for two cats and two smaller ones. He was at the very back of the cave, trembling with fear.

Fallensky sat in the camp, nibbling quietly on a mouse. His icy gaze swept over the clan as he finished his meal and shifted into a sitting position, his jaws parting in a lazy yawn before he began to groom his fur.

The calico she cat bounded effortlessly through the forest, her eyes bright as she leapt over logs and stones. Her jaws were parted as she drank in the scents of the woods, alert for the smell of prey.

Blinking open is eyes, the brown tom arched his back in a long stretch and rose to his paws. Shaking scraps of moss and leaves from his long pelt, he squeezed out of the apprentices' den and padded towards the fresh-kill pile, nodding to his clanmates as he passed.

Venus catapulted herself into the cave after him. She pressed up against him, breathing unevenly. Fear coursed through her as she heard the cursing shouts of the twoleg and the sound of the bottle breaking. She shook violently, but tried to calm herself. She could hear the thundering footsteps as her twoleg approached the cave. He reached his giant pink paw in, grabbing at her. He nearly caught hold of her tail, but she held it closer to her. She hissed and clawed at his arm, but that just seemed to anger him.

Coral leaned in, and bit the twoleg, hard. He unsheathed his claws, and started to claw him. He went back to end the of the cave when the twoleg almost got his front paw. He licked Venus's ear, trying to comfort her and tell her it's going to be okay.
