swanmist flicked her tail, padding out of the warrior's den after saying good morning to her mate, falconwing. she sighed happily and saw graystar, gulping softly. she used to have a crush on the tom until she found out that he had mated with purpleflower, and ever since her eyes had opened and she had seen falconwing there for her the whole time. she loved her mate, falconwing, very much and she was completely over graystar, but it was still slightly awkward. she didn't really like purpleflower but she treated her equally to every other cat in the clan. "good afternoon graystar. is a patrol open? i'd like to join one if possible." the pretty white shecat meowed, her blue eyes shimmering. she lashed her tail softly.

Purpleflower curls up in the leaders den, closes her eyes, and falls asleep.

"Of course,"he purred. Graystar glanced at Oceaneyes. "Oceaneyes! Would you like to join our patrol?" He called from the other side of the clearing.

"Sure!" He answered, and touched noses with Snowwhisper, then joined Swanmist and Graystar. "Let's go,"he meowed, and padded to the camp entrance, heading out into the forest.

swanmist nodded and flicked her tail, looking over at oceaneyes. she padded off with them, the trio was prepared for a lovely afternoon patrol. she didn't mind patrols, but she didn't like them, they weren't her favorite part of the day. she was a very skilled hunter, and believe it or not, she had begun as a medicine cat apprentice, she did know herbs. eventually, she realized that her destiny was not to heal cats, it was to fight. she switched into a regular apprenticeship and became an excellent warrior.

Graystar continued onto the patrol with Swanmist and Oceaneyes. He stopped to mark his scent at a tree near FlameClan territory. He frowned but continued.

He went a little ahead of Graystar and heard a tiny rustle. His ears perked and he dropped into a hunting crouch. Oceaneyes pounced, seeing a mouse under his paws. The brown tabby examined it for a little bit and realized that the mouse was almost as skinny as a stick. He dropped it buried it. He sighed.

Purpleflower wakes up and yawns, stretching inside the leaders den. She realizes that Graystar hasnt returned so she waits, thinking of what she can want from him when he comes back.

Vixenheart lay on her back in boredom, absorbing the sunlight above her. The sun shone on her snow-white belly, and she flicked her tail. The ginger she-cat rose up slowly, shaking herself. Vixenheart padded towards Purpleflower, not minding the fact she was going into the leader's den. She was always daring, and she didn't mind it. "Hi Purpleflower,"she meowed. "Are you and Graystar mates now?" She asked, almost excitably.

Purpleflower looks up to see Vixenheart making a daring chance to go inside the leaders den without permission. "Hello Vixenheart." she said. "Yes it does mean that."
