Boulderpaw: He looked at where Foxstreak was searching. Of course, why hadn't he searched there sooner? He eyed the Cobnut Foxstreak had found. He spotted a single crack. Well, while he was at it, he might as well be picky, even though he knew his finds wouldn't be any better. "No, it won't work because it has a crack. So it's bad" he said, trying to crack it under his paw, even though it was seemingly impossible. It seemed like Boulderpaw's smart-buttery was kicking in and it wasn't long until it was booted to full effect.

"Well I think it'd lure prey just fine." he said. Cobnuts were meant for luring prey out of burrows to capture them.

Boulderpaw: Boulder sneered, all shyness gone. "Well, I don't think it will attract anything because it has a crack. The prey won't want it" he declared, as if it were a challenge. He knew he was taking biting off more than he could chew but he was going to stand beside his opinion until he was proven wrong.

"Well I can go out and get one for you if you need it that badly." he said, smiling a bit.

Boulderpaw: He raised his head as if he were in authority. "Yes, go get me a nice good acorn or you have to clean the kits bedding for a moon!" he said. His tail curled in excitement, wondering if Foxstreak was actually going to find a good cobnut. That was when he was actually going to be impressed.

He laughed. "Okay then." he said, trotting off. He looked around below the trees, mostly seeing branches and hedge apples. He brushed away leaves to find lots of cracked and split cobnuts. He looked for a perfect cobnut, checking each one.

Boulderpaw: If Boulderpaw could chew his nails, he would he doing it at this point. He hoped Foxstreak didn't find the cobnut, then Boulderpaw would be wrong. He watched Foxstreak closely, his heart racing every time he thought he had found a good cobnut.

Foxstreak saw one that looked pretty good. He turned it over, seeing a large crack, and groaned, smacking it away. he kept looking around.

A few minutes later...

Foxstreak headed back. "i can't really find a good one but the closest I got was this dented one." he said.

Boulderpaw: Boulderpaw raised a brow, quickening his breath. He didn't know why he was so caught up in this. Maybe it's because he was so competitive when it came to things like this. When he mentioned its small deformity he calmed down. "So that means I win, right? Right?" he said, paws shuffling.

"Win?" he laughed. "So it was a competition?" he asked. "If so, then yes." he said.
