[size=85=]What in Starclan's name is that crazy apprentice doing? Wolfstar thought to herself. She had no clue as to if she should jump over Icepaw, dodging her attack, or under, leading to a counter attack. She dove under Icepaw, wondering what she would do in turn.[/size]

As Wolfstar goes under her, she twists around midair and digs her claws into the cats fur. She then pulls herself down onto her Mentor, clinging to her, while nipping at the back of her neck instead of biting. "You're suppose to bite though... I just don't want to hurt you, Wolfstar."

The she cat stared in astonishment at what Icepaw did. Most apprentices wouldn't have been able to do that until later in their training. Wolfstar nodded, acknowledging what the apprentice said, but then rolled over on her back. She said "There is one flaw though; the cat you're on top of can easily roll over and crush you."

She felt the muscles in Wolfstar's back begin to shift, and she let go. Luckily it was enough time to be able to move off of the larger cat's back and onto the ground beside her before her mentor rolled over. "If you're paying attention, then you should feel them moving. That'll give you enough time to let go and keep attacking." She then batted at Wolfstar's belly with soft paws.

[size=85=]Wolfstar said in a joking way "I know that, silly. In an actual fight, I wouldn't have taken as long to roll over. Other than the rolling over thing, nice move. That would be a great thing to surprise your opponent with in battle. Now, My mentor taught me this. It'll come in handy when you're on a patrol and enemies come into our territory." Wolfstar looked around, finding the nearest tree, then darted halfway up it. She looked down, finding a clump of moss, then said to Icepaw "Watch carefully now." The she-cat wiggled her haunches, jumping off the branch, her limbs outstretched. She landed on the clump of moss, then stood up, shaking the bits of leaves off of her.[/size]

"I want to try it! Is there a patrol out yet?" The apprentice would taste the air, trying to see if any cats were out and about. She looked up to Wolfstar, and would do anything in her power to be as great as her.

Wolfstar shook her head, and then said "You can practice on me, though."

"Dung! The best way to practice is by really doing it in a realistic situation." She would race up a tree, and virtually disappeared within the branches. "I'm ready when you are."

Whitemist was walking along the clans borders to look if she could scent any intruders or dangerous animals but so far she hadn't run into anything strange and hoped on not doing so either

Windpaw nodded and crept closer to the shrew, he saw it sitting on the ground. He charged his back legs for a pounce and flung up barley landing on the shrew, he swiftly gave the shrew a bite to the neck and the shrew stopped struggeling

Wolfstar nodded, then got into position. She said to Icepaw "Ready!" The she-cat was behind a bush, and then walked out into the little clearing. She acted like she was sniffing around for prey, waiting for Icepaw. Her muscles were relaxed, pretending to not expect anything to come flying out of the trees.
