He started to follow her when she stopped so he stopped. "There could be something else." He mumbled to her.

"Well?" The deputy meowed urging him to explain, "Go on. I might not have to bring you back to camp if it is something we could take care of right now."

Pawsteps alerted her to the presence of another. Luckily it was Fallenstar, someone she felt comfortable around. "Good. I hope." She meowed before giving one of the kits a quick lick. "This one is Ice. And here is Snow." She indicated to each kit with her tail as she told the leader their names.

Blossom gave a smile and yet another nod. He figured it would do no harm for him to just hear what clan life was all about.

"It's okay." Finchkit repeated. He moved closer to Brightpaw so he could lean against the apprentice. Being close to those he trusted always made him feel better.

"Icekit and Snowkit..." He said with a smile. "What lovely names." He said, settling beside her. "They're beautiful." He purred to her.

"A clan is a group of cats that live together in a large group. We have the leader,who runs the clan. The deputy is our second in command. When I am not around they run the camp. The medicine cat and med cat app tend to the sick and wounded cats. Warriors are what we call adult cats. They are fighters and protectors of the clan. Apprentices are warriors in training. They have Warrior's as mentors teaching them all the need to know about hunting and fighting. Kits are well...kits once they reach six moons they become apprentices. Queens like yourself tend to the kits they give birth to or adopt. And Elders are cats who are too old to do their duties no more or can no longer be a warrior." She said flicking his ear. "You will be given a warrior name along with whatever you wish to call your kits will have kit at the end or it." He mewed. "And yes you and your kits will be safe and they will stay with you for life." She said with a nod.

Owlfang fell silent. She had not been expecting that response. "Tell me, what is your name? Or am I to call you outsider forever?" Her voice had a slight teasing tone to it, "I am Owlfang. As I already said I am deputy of our clan, DarknessClan. Did you want me to take you to our clan then?" Of course she would only take him directly to Fallenstar and let him decide if they should allow this loner to stay.

Aqua slowly noddes. She had forgotten about the whole -kit thing but it did not really bother her. "I'm glad you like them." She purred while looking at Fallenstar. "I hope they won't be too much of a pawfull." Without any other queens in the nursery or even a mate she figured that she wouldn't have a whole lot of help.

Blossom listened in silence. He had to admit to himself that he was somewhat drawn to the idea of cats living together and helping one another out.

DIablo. It sounded odd to her but then again most outsider names did. "Your name will probably be changed if you do join us." Owlfang began to lead him again as she spoke, "Just how much do you know about clan life anyhow?"

"I take it you must like kits." Aqua said, still looking at him as she spoke. She liked looking at him for whatever reason. "Is that why you let me come here?" She was somewhat curious about what Fallenstar's reaction towards her might have been had she not been carrying kits at the time.

The kittypet smiled back at her and gave a nod of agreement. Blossom was only looking at her every now and again, mostly focusing on looking at everything they passed by while they walked.

Finchkit gave a soft, happy purr. As much as he was enjoying spending time with the apprentice, a sudden thought occurred to him. "You don't have to spend all day with me if you don't want to." He said assuming that Brightpaw might have responsibilities to take care of or other cats to hang out with.

Aqua smiled softly watching him treat her kit so gently. This was what she had pictured when she first realized she was carrying kits. Herself and her mate snuggled up with their kits. Except Fallenstar wasn't her mate and these were not his kits. The she-cat gave a soft sigh and leaned her head against the leader. "You're so sweet you know." She purred softly.

A soft gasp came from the kittypet when he saw the meadow. Blossom grinned happily, he always liked flowers especially since they were so similar to his namesake. The tom began to leap and frolic around in the meadow careful to stay somewhat close to Mapleshade as he did so.

Finchkit didn't say anything in response. Instead he just gave a quick nod before sitting down. The calico's tail curled around his body as a way of making himself feel more secure.

He smiled gently nudging the little kit back to Aqua's belly. He gave her a caring smile. "I try to be." He said to her softly. "I want all the cats of my clan to feel welcome and cared for." He said licking her between the ears.

"Once...." He said softly. "There used to be a clan here before you all moved here. It was a small clan but a clan no less. I was just a small kit at the time but something happened to make the clan all split up leaving my mother and father to take care of us. It was tough since prey was scarce and the weather was against us. My...my father went hunting one day and didn't come back. My mother found stench of him and a fox not too far from our den. My mother moved us to a different area but it was even tougher on her to keep us safe and hunt. When I got older I helped a much as I could but my mother got white cough and passed leaving me alone." He said his voice full of sorrow.
