By the way, did the person who taught you to hunt never tell you that in order to catch the prey you can't scare it and make it run off ?" Shaka asked sarcastically.

Emerald watched the lion continue his speech until he told her to fetch him another zebra, that was until the lioness laid down on her stomach and watched the lion, laying comfortable and thumping her tail onto the ground "Unfortunately, I don't feel like hunting so you're better off on your own." Emerald rolled onto her back and pawed the sky-line, deeply acting lazy.

Shaka stood up and padded towards her, placing an unsheathed claw under her chin. "I'd watch it if I were you, sweetheart." His posture was tense like he was ready to leap and kill any moment. His eyes shone darkly, not showing any of his true emotions. He had learned to push those into a small dark corner during the past years.

She sat up straight when Shaka lifted his claw under her chin. Listening to his threat she backed up and slipped her tail under the male's chin in a flirtatious way before she sat back in her haunches in a very cheeky way "Kill me now or spare my soul," Emerald huffed "I'm Emerald, by the way," She pointed out before licking her chest. Shaka was acting tense and dominant over her which was starting to annoy her.

"I guess, well it's getting late we better get to sleep." She said as she laid down close to pride rock.

"Wow, you really are quite tough, I'm suprised other lions tease you.." A tear drooped down from her face. "I should be getting teased, I'm the crybaby who can't put up with anything.." She said sadly as she lowered her head to hide the tear. They ran down her face, leaving a brown mark as they dried they fell onto the floor, occasionally running down the strips of grass.
