Scout walked up to the entrance of the infirmary. "what happened to Naomi?" she said looking worriedly through the door at Naomi.

Cody raced across the hall and began shooing Scout into another room before Gelu could bite his head off.
"I think it's best that you not bother them. Gelu is in a bad enough mood as it is." He said, looking back over his shoulder carefully.

"Well... it isn't exactly my stomach. But I am getting fat an-" Naomi stopped. "Do you think I'm..."

Gelu nodded. "I'm surprised you haven't miscarried, but..." She didn't finish the thought out loud.

"Butt?" Naomi said worriedly. "What's wrong with my butt?"

"oh. ok" Scout walked off to the fountain room for a drink.

"There is nothing wrong with your butt." Gelu replied. "I said 'but', as in however. There is still the possibility that the pups might not survive due to your injuries. We must keep a close watch on you during your recovery. Judging by how big you've grown, I'd say that you're around four or five months pregnant. It would also be best that no one else know of this."

Cody followed Scout. "We're all very worried about Naomi, but something has Gelu on edge. It's never a good sign when a Mage has a feeling like that."

scout looked over at cody. " but doesn't naomi look bigger to you?" she paused for a minute "i mean does she have a mate? or a crush?"

"But... my mate... Roman, he... he disappeared a couple months ago!" Naomi said. "I'd never want my pups to die..."

(Good question. Where is Roman?)

"No." Cody said. "At least, not any more. No one has seen him in months."

"And I will do my best to keep them alive, but for now we must wait and see." Gelu said.
