- the smaller feline sat in silence as the tom finished his meal. her mind drifted from thought to thought, just as it always did when she was bored or had nothing specific to do. at first she was trying to think of new strategies to hunt with, she quickly came up with a way to possibly lure a bunch of squirrels or mice into one particular area so that they would be easy pickings. beech nuts or acorns would be good for that... but i'm sure it wouldn't work..." she said to herself before her mind wandered once more. her gaze fell on darkleaf and reedpaw's den for a reason she wasn't sure of. I wonder how they cope without having the companionship with their clanmates like we do? she tilted her head slightly to one side as an idea came to mind, I wonder if they ever wish they could have a mate or kits? it was a question that the molly had thought about many times before but was too hesitant to ask. the thought made her shake her head and she looked away to see that Redoak had started speaking to her and she nearly missed what he had said. immediate guilt swept over her as she pondered on what to say to the tom. what is there even to do in the boring camp? fawndapple searched the clearing for something interesting to do. "well I suppose pestering the elders for stories is out of the question, huh?" she joked in an attempt to cover for her awkward silence. the dappled cat offered a smile as she tried hard to think of entertainment, "and I suppose a walk wouldn't do..." she studied the tom's wounds and decided that it might be uncomfortable for the deputy to have to walk around in the forest. "wow, I guess I never realized how boring it is in camp. I have no idea really." fawndapple wrapped her tail around her paws neatly and raised a brow at the tom, wondering if he had any ideas.

- the golden pelted tom followed the she-cat's gaze as she flicked her tail in the direction of a corner near the camp. a flash back of when he had first come to the clan appeared in his mind, the same corner I stayed in. he huffed quietly before dipping his head briefly to the white molly, feeling quite embarrassed that the clan leader had suggested that he had taken a liking to the loners. wasn't that a bad thing? he wondered to himself and felt snowstar's tail rest on his shoulder gently before bounding over swiftly to the high ledge. he sighed and turned to the two loners, speaking to them for the first time since he had voted for them to come back to the clan, "alright so... i'm gonna be over there." he flicked his dark ginger tail over to the spot where snowstar wanted them. "you can either come with me there or visit the medicine cat to treat your wounds, over there." he moved the tip of his tail into the direction of darkleaf's den. the tom felt awkward giving orders to any cat, but especially to the mollies because they weren't members of his clan. what am I going to do if they refuse to listen? he suppressed a shrug and trotted away to where the makeshift nests would be placed. knowing how cold it could get in the night time he began to study the shelter around the area. with only a few holes in the bramble wall nearby, he decided that it wouldn't be too hard of a task but he did want some company. foxclaw turned his cranium over to the black pelt of ebonycloud and bounded over to the molly, "hey, you want to help me make some nests? it isn't the most fun thing in the world, I know. but snowstar wanted another warrior to help me..." he asked in a friendly tone, wondering if the warrior would say no to the boring task at hand.
