She looked up at her mother, "my belly hurts!" she wailed.

Sootstep stood up , mewed, "I'll be right back," and shakily padded out of the nursery. She coughed, remembering what the medicine cat had taught her about herbs. She Hobbled over to the medicine cat's den and grabbed a few juniper berries before badding back and telling Spottedkit to eat them.

She ate the berries, and fell asleep.

Spottedkit woke, later and she crawled out of the nest, and walked to the entrance/exit and sat just inside and watched the moon rise, her eyes sparkled in the moonlight she smiled, she liked to watch the moon alone.
