Psypaw didn't answer him, and instead gave him a sly smile. Eventually, after many twists and turns, quite a ways away from camp, she stopped in a small clearing filled with Gracedia flowers and berry trees of every kind. "We're here!" She squealed as she ran to the small tree she had planted in the center of the garden.

Rumblepaw strode into camp, looking around. He spotted Brisktail by the meeting rock. "Hey Brisktail, whatcha doing up there? Is the view nice?" He joked.

"Oh the view is just lovely Rumblepaw." Brisktail chuckled. "I'm organizing patrols for Gemstar so he doesn't have to trouble himself." She explained.

"Wow..." Quickheart muttered, looking around as he followed Psypaw to the young tree. "Did you... plants all these?" He asked after a second. "It's.... really amazing."


Brightcoal|Arcanine|Swiftclan

The Arcanine snorted softly, having followed after Rumblepaw when he had headed towards Brisktail. It was a wonder Gemstar was even capable of sitting down whenever she was around. "Let's hear it then." He told her. "Who's going where?"

Brisktail's head shot up at Brightcoal's question. "Well.. um.. You and Rumblepaw can go! And.. I'll go too!" Brisktail flicked a bead of sweat off her face with her tail, it turning to ice then shattering against the ground. Yes, that would make a good patrol. And she organized it all herself. She allowed her chest fur to puff with pride.

"BOO!" Rushpaw shot up with a start only to meet the twinkling eyes of his leader. "Good morning Rushpaw." She purred playfully. "G-Good morning Strikestar." He was still trembling. Strikestar chuckled. "If you've got nothing better to do, why not go for a walk?" "A walk? But I can do something more useful than that!" "Alright, why not head out on a hunt?" The zorua's paws tingled with excitement and fear. "Yes Strikestar!" Using illusion, he made it so he appeared as a rattatta. With that, he headed out.

Gemstar watched in amusement as Brisktail organized the patrol. It was obvious she didn't really know what she was doing, but he didn't stop her. She was very enthusiastic after all, why crush that spirit?

She blushed a bit that this. "Thanks... want a berry?" She said, handing him one of the dark blue fruit. "Its freeeeshhh!"

"Alright ready when you are!" He replied, rolling his eyes at the proud pokemon.

"Oh, thanks." He muttered as he took the berry. "It looks really good." Quickheart noted before taking a bite of it.


Brightcoal|Arcanine|Swiftclan

"Lead the way then." Brightcoal told her, his ear flicking in amusement. "Unless you wanted one of us to lead the patrol."

"Nope! I got it!" Brisktail made sure her voice projected loud enough for Gemstar to hear then made her way out of camp, signaling the others to follow. Gemstar watched them go, flicked his tail as a sign of goodbye.

Rushpaw carefully made his way through the underbrush, making sure not to step on anything that would alert his presence. Not that it would matter, he was in disguise after all.

Psypaw sat down, nibbling lightly at the berry. "I wonder if anyone has noticed we are gone. Oh well." She shrugged, looking up at the taller pokemon.
