Shadowpaw stood upright, lowering his tail. "You're right," He meowed "but can we at least check it out first?" He asked, curiosity bubbling inside him. His tail wagged with excitement as he awaited her response.

Dewpaw looked across at Russetwind but stayed where she was. The apprentice got up and sighed, her head spinning. She stumbled across to the apprentice's den and flopped onto her nest which was quite near the entrance. She let out a large groan and sat up. Licking a paw, the molly turned her head to look out the den. From here on out, she was a spectator. She promised herself she wouldn't get involved.

Twigfall just shrugged. He didn't know how to respond. "We can only hope, but I'm sure that StarClan will show them some sort of sign." He meowed, not sure he trusted his words. StarClan hadn't talked to the medicine cat in a while, but maybe... Just maybe, at a crisis like this, they will help out.

Cookie sighed. "I've tried taking it off, but I just can't." The fæ pulled hard at it but it wouldn't rip.

Maplefoot watched Pepperfrost as she moved about, hey dizziness slowly fading. However, his headache increased in intensity, blurring the edges of her vision. She groaned in pain and narrowed her eyes, looking over to the other sickly cats to see if they had a similar problem.

Gingersky nodded his head in acknowledgement of Goldenhearts approval and kept on, searching for prey with the others.

Whisperfur straightened up a bit when Duskshades mew changed to a purr. That was sudden She couldn't help but think. Perhaps he likes me? She thought. "Good, I was worried a-about her."She replied, glancing to her left, seemingly distracted. She forced herself to look back at Duskshade. "Would you take me to her?"

Maplefoot watched the medicine cat pad about, listening to her words. She held a great respect for Pepperfrost. She tried to chew the poppy seeds, painfully swallowing them. They scratched her throat and she coughed after she had eaten them, her face contourting in pain.

Pepperfrost looked back at Maplefoot. "I can't give you too many herbs at one time." She meowed before adding. "What hurts the most?" She would give the warrior the herbs required for what hurt the most, and since the she cat was a strong warrior, she should be able to pull through. Don't let any cat die under any circumstances. Brindlestar's words still rung in her ears.

Badgertail sighed, turning around to go back to camp. On the way back, he'd caught a squirrel, and he placed in the pile. He passed his brother, Eaglethorne, and his younger brother gave him a smirk as he went to the pile and picked out a vole.

While passing his older brother, Eaglethorne took the vole and sat by the entrance of the warriors den and started to dig into it.

Maplefoot grimaced. "My head. It's the dizziness and the crazy headaches," She insisted, tail lashing irritably. She laid down, resting her head on the cool ground, trying to find some balance.

Gingersky brought the rabbit back into camp, dropping it off in the pile. He padded into the medicine cat den, wanting to check in on Pepperfrost and Maplefoot. He stuck his head in the den, his broad shoulders soaking up most of the sunlight in the entrance. "How is Maplefoot doing?" He inquired, gazing at the med cat. He had been drawn to her since he arrived here, but dared not say a thing. She was beautiful; there was no denying her soft white fur and crystal blue eyes that seemed to hold stars in them.

Badgertail padded into the medicine den. He didn't care if he got sick. He was starting to like Maplefoot, but he had no clue if she liked him back. He sighed, sitting down near the entrance, and nodding to Gingersky.

Maplefoot looked to her half brother when she heard him speak. In doing so, she caught Badgertail looking at her. She raised her eyebrows at him, her face becoming slightly warm. She quickly looked back to her brother, her tail swaying side to side a few times uncomfortably.

Badgertail blushed a bit when Maplefoot looked at him, giving his chest fur a quick lick. His tail was cured around him, then he saw how Gingersky was looking at Pepperfrost, then wondered if he liked her.

"Of course," LittleDove replied and thought about StarClan. "Let's hope it comes soon," she thought. "If it comes at all," she then thought and felt almost guilty about even thinking about that. Of couse the sign would come if StarClan sees that they are suffering. Thought it's only natural to doubt. She was scared to ask the question, but she needed somebody else's opinion. She need to know if she was just being silly. "What if it doesn't come?" she asked quietly and hoped no one else heard, but TwigFall.
