Pepperfrost nodded. She knew the leader was right. "I know," she sighed and looked at her paws "and as for Goldenheart, I believe she went hunting." The medicine cat looked back at her den. "Can we continue this conversation inside? I have a feeling Maplefoot will need me." The fae meowed as she began to head into the den.

Snowcloud entered camp and dropped her catch on the pile. She gave Beetlenose a short nod in farewell before entering the warrior's den. She ignored Twigfall and Littledove and just flopped into her nest, exhausted.

Shadowpaw nodded and followed the deputy silently. As he stepped over a branch, he slipped on something slimy and landed on the ground with a thud. He opened his eyes to see a shadow squeezing from under his paws. The tom shivered as he stood. The shadows' visits were becoming more and more frequent; maybe he should talk to Pepperfrost about it? No, she has enough on her plate. He told himself.

Dewpaw looked across at Russetwind but stayed where she was. The apprentice got up and sighed, her head spinning. She stumbled across to the apprentice's den and flopped onto her nest which was quite near the entrance. She let out a large groan and sat up. Licking a paw, the molly turned her head to look out the den. From here on out, she was a spectator. She promised herself she wouldn't get involved.

Twigfall nodded. It was busier than ever, and the forest was beginning to seem like a threat. "I'm just baffled as to what caused it." He meowed as he licked a paw and drew it across his ear.

Cookie's heart raced as he leaned forward to nuzzle her. She felt her cheeks burn as she blushed and she didn't try to hide it for that would just be hopeless. "Are you sure..? I mean..." The kittypet trailed off, unsure on what to say. Her collar rubbed and she tugged at it with a claw for a split second before leaving it alone.

He turned and looked at her collar for a moment, his eyes narrowed. "I understand if you want to take it off, but why keep it on. It seems like it would alarm any prey your trying to catch.." He tipped his head, and sniffed it.

VixenPaw smiled sweetly in the direction of FirePaw. "Oh i'm fine. I was just a bit bored and I saw that you were sitting here. So I decided to come over and talk," she replied and sat down. She sat up tall and wrapped her tail gently around her paws. "How about you? What have you been up to?" she asked.

FernWatcher gave a quick nod before continuing the hunt. He didn't loose concentration on the forest around him as he walked even though he should. You never know when a large rock or root could be purposely there trying to trip you.

(Sorry for not posting again. This week has again been very busy. Hopefully the work that needs to be done will die down by the holidays.)

LittleDove looked over at the older warrior. "I think everybody is," she meowed quietly. Her eyes followed some of the cats that were now entering the den. She flicked her tail nervously, but tried to keep up the conversation. "Do you think PepperFrost and VictorPaw will come up with a cure soon and maybe even figure out how cats are getting sick?" she asked TwigFall.

Maplefoot ate the seeds, but her throat still burned from throwing up and she coughed them back up. She growled lowly and decided that she needed a drink from the river. She was parched. She attempted to stand, and succeeded. She took a few steps towards the entrance of the den, her intent to go to the river, but she only made it those few steps before the dizziness overcame her and she fell over on her flank, completely disoriented. She felt her face blush red in embarrasment and her flattened her ears to her head, hissing.

"No that's fine. I'll be ready to carry out this conversation once I have talked with Goldenheart."
She meowed, a little louder than her last reply in hopes that the fæ would hear her.
Without waiting for a certain response,
she padded into the middle of camp, her eyes searching for Goldenheart.

Goldenheart shook her head and sighed. "We've been here for so long.." she meowed to the others. "It's getting rather late. Let's head back with the rabbit we have and I can speak to Brindlestar." The fae turned back and padded down a clearing. "Come on.." she beckoned. "Oh Gingersky, where did you put the rabbit?" she asked.

Gingersky beckoned in the direction he had left the rabbit in. "Back that way," He meowed, adding, "I'll go get it and meet you guys back at camp," Not waiting for approval, he trotted off towards the rabbit, ears perked and alert.
