His ears perked up with alarm. Standing up he sprinted to the medicine cat's den. "PepperFrost! Brindlestar! FirePaw thinks MapleFoot has the sickness!" He panicked, eyes wide fur bristling with alarm. DuskShade grew worried when he got no reply from either of the two fæs.

"You were watching?" He said with the vole in his mouth.
He felt a little embarrassed and shrank down.

His tone shown it obvious he was lying.

"That i know of right now FirePaw and WhisperFur are with MapleFoot's unconscious body." She said flattening his ears to his head, and tried to smooth down his ruffled pelt. "MapleFoot's body is somewhere in the hunting grounds." He added dipping his head respectfully to BrindleStar.

FernWatcher gave a large and happy nod which made his neck hurt after. "I wouldn't mind," he meowed, slowly straightening up onto his paws. "Where shall we begin?" he asked TinyStripe and stretched his legs and paws while he waited. He always enjoyed having a hunting partner.

She said in a more calm tone.
She gulped and looked over towards Deadtail and Russetwind.
At least Russetwind is better...
She gave Stoneheart a cold glare as he was heading towards the den.
"You shouldn't be walking around like that, for all we know this sickness could kill in an instant
if anyone catches it." Her tassel twitched, she didn't relize she was pointing out Pepperfrost.

Frostfall-
"Uh yeah.. Same." He started to shake just being next to her;
being complimented by her.

Whisperfur reached her sisters body. She was about to ask Firepaw to help her carry Maplefoot back to camp, but she noticed how bothered the apprentice as by the sight. Instead, she took her sister my the scruff and painstakingly dragged her back to camp, stumbling through the entrance. She dropped her sisters scruff gently and looked around for Pepperfrost and Duskshade. "Duskshade?" She called out to him, out of breath from carrying Maplefoot. She glanced at Firepaw, hoping the young cat would be okay, and took a few steps in the direction of the medicine cats den.

(Sorry, busy night tonight for me)

FernWatcher thought for a moment and mumbled things that were unclear. "I mean we could just go to the hunting grounds, but what's the fun in that?" he meowed with a silly smile. "So I say we just go in some random direction and see what we can find," he said and waved his tail.

Pepperfrost felt like so much pressure had been placed on her shoulders and was weighing her down. Don't let any cat die under any circumstances. It rung so clearly in her ears. "I will try my best Brindlestar." Then looked back at Russetwind. "Did you eat the feverfew? It should help with your headache too." Don't let any cat die under any circumstances. That was a big order. This sickness she had never seen before, never been taught how to cure, never cured. It would be a miracle if not one cat died in the process of making a remedy. The medicine cat felt so pressured, and it was making her panic. She just watched the warrior, waiting for him to obey her orders and eat the herb.

Snowcloud nodded, a smile spreading across her muzzle and her cheeks turning red. "Yeah, we should." She meowed quietly.

Shadowpaw saw Goldenheart watching the prey. "I will come hunting with you, that is if you want me to come." The small apprentice mewed, trying to ignore the shadow that was standing behind the warrior and laughing.

Dewpaw whispered to Russetwind. "Please, just eat the feverfew. I don't want you to die." The apprentice sat and looked at her paws and a single tear fell on them. She wiped her eyes and forced herself to stay strong.

Twigfall nodded. "I'm fine. Now come on, there is Pepperfrost." He meowed as he began to walk back up to the sick cats and the medicine cat.

Cookie opened her eyes at the sound of Sally's voice. Bouncing lightly down the stairs, she jumped onto the windowsill and smiled at the cat after a long yawn. "Greetings, Sally. Um, can you visit in the morning? I have had a very busy day and I'm very tired." The fæ explained with another yawn.
