more or less hoping she would understand.

She raised her head.
"And who have we here?" She smiled at the new face
and curled her tail in excitement.

Pepperfrost soon found the root and began to dig it up without a word. Dirt clung to her claws so she would have to wash them. The burdock root was quite deep too, so it took a bit of digging to get it out.

[b]Snowcloud turned her head to see a kitty pet in camp. "Hey, what's going on?" The warrior asked, turning to Beetlenose.

Shadowpaw turned his head and stood as a strange smell entered his nostrils. It burned his tongue and made him hold his nose in disgust. He felt shadowy fur brush past his and it made him shiver. The black tom turned but nothing could be seen. The schizophrenic cat shook his head and just watched the scene from a distance.

Dewpaw growled as she saw her mentor with the disgusting patch of fur. "If Brindlestar let's that kitty pet into the Clan I swear down I'm going to... Agh!" The apprentice didn't know what she would do. The fae considered leaving camp, but she wouldn't be able to survive long.

Twigfall looked up as he saw Smallfoot returning with unfamiliar fur walking behind him and the stench of kitty pet tortured his nostrils. Padding over to Deadtail, he meowed. "What's going on now?"

Cookie looked at the orange cat and frowned. Why did these cats look at her with such despise? The kitty pet smiled awkwardly as Smallfoot lead her to what she guessed was the leader. She forced her ears not to flatten as she looked back at the ginger cat who was with the smaller one she had met with Smallfoot. Her tail flicked once as it tried to hide, but she couldn't show fear to these cats. "G-Greetings." She stammered.

[Still Alive]

Deadtail
She gave Dewpaw a warning look, "You'll do what? You haven't finished your training, and I think he did the right thing. Instead of picking a fight he her brought to the leader." Her green eyes blazed in slight frustration. Looking at Russetwind she thought she would get some help but then realized he had a thing against kittypets as well, "And if Brindlestar lets her join you should respect her." She growled at the younger cat.

Smallfoot
"She's a kittypet I found wandering around. I didn't want to start a fight so I brought her here, I hope that's okay..?" He glanced over his shoulder to look at the other cats. Deadtail seemed to be upset with his apprentice and Russetwind.

Cookie dipped her head as Smallfoot introduced her. Her tail flicked again and her whiskers twitched once. Her greedy blue eyes were still scared, but the she cat's kindness had stolen most of her fear. "I'm Cookie."

"I can't help feeling you're not just talking to Dewpaw but me as well."
He smirked, "I don't think Kittypets should join clans, they have their humans
and it's just more mouths to feed. I doubt they could even catch a cold in Leafbare."
He gave Deadtail a cold, cruel, glance.
If that's the way you want to play, fine by me.

I'm Brindlestar." She sat up and neatly wrapped her tail around her mitts.
