"That's true, teamwork is important..." said Ash softly, "Hopefully I can get Alessa more comfortable with battling soon. Maybe pairing her up wouldn't be a bad idea." "Abandoned?" echoed Alessa, "Trainers can just do that? That's awful!"

[Fortune's Fool]

"Work into things slowly, if you don't mind me randomly giving out advice." Indium answered. "If she's not comfortable with battling yet, don't force her into it all at once. Start out with trying moves outside a battle situation, and work up from there."

"Only the terrible ones." Zirconium grumbled, shifting slightly to lean against his mate.
Neon shushed him softly before shifting her head in such a way that the pale yellow, red, and blue stone hanging on a cord around her neck was visible. "My original trainer couldn't... together we weren't able to activate this stone's power." She explained softly. "He got frustrated, and finally smashed my Pokeball and stormed off." She paused. "He never came back."

[Boomer]

Ash nodded, considering Indium's advice. "That makes sense." she said quietly, "She's finally recovered from her accident, and the last thing I want to do is get her hurt again." Alessa flicked her tail. "What's that stone for?" she asked.

[Fortune's Fool]

"It's not a bad thing to start small." Indium nodded. "Training isn't a race, after all."

"It's a mega stone called a Manectite." Neon explained. "It allows me to... 'mega evolve' into a different, stronger version of myself. With the help of Indium and the stone on his goggles." She nodded towards her trainer and the small stone set into the goggles around his neck. "It takes a strong bond between trainer and pokemon, and I just didn't share that with my first trainer."

[Boomer]

"Mega evolve...?" whispered Alessa, "That sounds cool! Can your teammates mega evolve too?"

[Fortune's Fool]

Neon shook her head. "It's just me. Mega evolution requires a stone specific to the species of Pokemon, as well as for the trainer to have their own mega stone. I don't think all species have stones that allow them to? They're very rare." She pauses for a moment, thoughtful. "I could probably get Indium to do a demonstration, if you'd like?"

Appearance: Ark is around the same size and shape for his species, but he has more of a light orange fur color with dark red stripes. The original tan fur around his body is a dark gray. His eyes take on a more blue flame like color. He wears an old torn apart scarf around his neck.
Personality: Protective, kind, loving, and has a temper.
History: Ark used to be a champion Pokemon before he evolved into the odd color and was released by his trainer. He now lives in the forest protecting his friends.

"That'd be awesome!" yapped Alessa, "I didn't know certain Pokemon could evolve again... man, what will they think of next?"

Neon immediately headed towards Indium, Zirconium obviously trailing behind her. She bumped her trainer's leg with her head before shifting to make the mega stone viable once more. It took a few seconds, but finally he understood what she was getting at. "Alright, alright." He chuckled, a hand resting on her head for a second before the electric dog darted a few steps away. His hand moved to the stone on his goggles, which started to glow as did the one around Neon's neck.

The glow intensified, until Neon was nothing but a sphere of bright light, and then all at once it faded. She look different, and was a foot taller. Neon stretched, then padded back to Alessa. "And there you have it." She said.

"That's unusual." Indium hummed thoughtfully. "I don't think Neon's ever asked me to do that before."

Ark laid peacefully under a large tree with a few other different Pokemon playing nearby. He let out a huff like bark as one of them ran into him while the others seem to enjoy themselves, he gently helped it back on its feet and watched it play with everyone.
