The sun was above the horizon and Moonstar was the first cat awake. She yawned and licked back her fur to make it sleek and shiny. It was early so she decided to think who should mentor who..

Fallenpaw awoke in her nest and stretched out. She could tell it was still early in the morning because she didn't hear any cats outside of the medicine den. Slowly Fallenpaw pulled herself to her paws and walked over to the entrance of the medicine den. She sat down just outside the entrance. The young apprentice loved waking up early so she could enjoy the peace and quiet of the morning.

Nightfang//Tom//Warrior//Tags: Looking for Moonstar
Nightfang awoke earlier than usual. He got up and stretched out his legs, first the front and then the back. Graywhisker remembered that he had to talk to Moonstar about mentoring one of the apprentices so Graywhisker padded out of the warriors den and began looking for his leader.

The leader heard another cat so she properly got up, still stuck at the question but decided to go check the area out. She padded across the grass which today was covered in a thick layer of white frost, cold as anything and made her shiver. She looked at the fresh-kill pile. It was still there, not yet crowfood but a little wet and frosty but it was edible. There was a cat in the distance, Moonstar made out to be Nightfang. She approached the cat gently and greeted the warrior. ''Greetings Nightfang. How can I help?'' the she-cat purred amusingly.

"Good morning Moonstar" Nightfang meowed, greeting Moonstar formally. " I was wondering if you still needed help with mentoring apprentices? If you'd like I could mentor one of them" Nightfang offered kindly.[/center]

The cat appreciated him wanting to be a mentor and she lit up with a bright smile. ''I'd be happy to take you into consideration! Thank you for asking, it's very kind of you.'' She looked at the frosty ground. ''I'm going to check on the borders. Is it okay if I leave you in 'charge' for a while? If anybody asks a question like where I am help them out if that's okay? Thank you very much if so. Just making sure we're safe.''

"Of course, will you need any help checking the border? I could wake another Warrior if you'd like" Nightfang offered. He was concerned that Moonstar might need help if anything happened. Nightfang was also hoping that the clan wouldn't go into chaos while he was "in charge"

Moonstar smiled. ''Go on, you can help. I'll be waiting at the entrance for you.''

Nightfang went into the warriors den and Squirrelflight caught his eye. Nightfang quietly made his way to Squirrelflight and poked her pelt with his paw. "Squirrelflight, wake up" he whispered quietly in her ear, trying not to wake any other cat.

"What?" Squirrelflight murmured sleepily. She yawned and sat up. "Yes, Nightfang?"

The she-cat sat in front of the mossy evergreen entrance to the camp, her tail flowing in the light breeze.
