Makayla growled "Go away Shadow!" She said, her head in her paws. Then she softly looked up. "Oh! I'm so sorry!"

[Shai]

"That's fine," Shima said, smiling slightly, "So, what's wrong?" she asked gently.

Darkness got to his feet, and trotted off, heading further away from the cave, and towards a tall hill with a forest of rocks at the top.

[Emygrace]

Makayla closed her eyes then opened them. "Shadow told me that Darkness loves me and.. he ran off.. Darkness that is. I want to be friends but i cant exactly tell him that and...I don't want to lose him.."

[Shai]

Shima nodded, "Darkness probably thinks that you hate him or something, especially what with Shadow said to him..." she said.

[Emygrace]

Makayla frowned then perched up. "What did Shadow say to him!?" She almost yelled.

[Shai]

"Well, I didn't hear it all really, but from what I heard and what Darkness was muttering as he left, stuff like you didn't like him and that he was pathetic and that..." Shima said, trailing off slightly, unsure if she should continue.

[Emygrace]

Makayla's eyes widened. "Please go on!" She said urgently.

[Shai]

"Well, Shadow also said something about how he was glad that you had standards and didn't like Darkness and stuff..." she said.

[Emygrace]

Makayla's jaw tensed. STUPID SHADOW! She growled in her mind. "Anything else?" She asked breathing loudly but slightly calming.

[Shai]

"I don't think so..." Shima said, wracking her brains, trying to remember, "He may have said more, but I wasn't there the whole time... Though I think he teased Darkness for 'Hiding you in a cave' or something like that."
