And Rocky, you were saying for her to use it when you're the one not putting punctuation at the end of your speech. You have to use brackets too, you know. By the way, wasn't Mint with Crystalkit? I'm thinking of quitting this roleplay... But not right now.)

The two kits wondered out of their small den. Crystalkit, the beautifully blue-eyed one, was pulling her brother's scruff in front of her since he was so slow. Shadowkit let out a short yowl of annoyance before yanking his sister's tail. "Hey!" she she-kit mewed sharply, tumbling into a soft roll so the tom was on the ground. She chuckled slightly, it being interrupted by the sound of a large apprentice behind her. The siblings stood, black fur bristling. They slowly started to back away, afraid that the older cat would hurt them.

"Silly kits, don't be so rough! You could get hurt!" she snapped, picking the two kits up. "Where is your mother? I'm not gonna hurt you, mousebrains!" she said.

They shifted their paws nervously. Shadowkit struggled to fight the urge not to cry. "We were only playing.." the young she-cat trailed off, small ears flattening. "A-And... We don't have a mother... she died... We don't know who our father is, but when we were tiny, Jayclan adopted us. There were no queens so Creamstar just took care of us." she explained, starting to tear up. Crystalkit shuffled closer to her brother, who was crying too. "But don't call us that bad word, please."

She sighed loudly. "I'm sorry. Okay?" she said, placing the kits down. "Have you had fresh kill yet? You're nearly 5 or 6 moons, right?"

"My birthday's next month and I'm going to be 6 moons! But no, I haven't had fresh-kill yet. My brother here is only about 4 weeks old, so he's way to young to try it. We only drink water around here, fresh from the stream. Shadowkit's struggling to cope without our mother's milk though." Crystalkit replied to the apprentice, who looked muscular and strong. The small tom just sat there next to Lostpaw, purring. "I'm going to train with you then! What is it like being an apprentice? Who's your mentor?" her questions had eagerness in their tones.

"Snowpelt is my mentor! They're really nice. Crystal, would you like to taste fresh kill?" she asked, smiling a little.

Shadowkit gaped in amazement. Snowpelt?! He admired the muscular tom. "Wow! Yeah!" Crystalkit agreed, rapidly nodding.

She padded out of camp towards a small clearing she liked to spend some alone time in. Sitting down, she began grooming her thick coat, before spreading herself out in the sunlight.

"I'll be back..." she said, padding off to get a mouse. Dropping it at Crystalkit's paws, she smiled. "Try it!"
