Froststar purred, turning towards the elder. "Who are you calling old, Dustshade? I've still got a few lives in me, and only a few leg pains!" She gave Dustshade a mischievous look. "I'm surprised to see you up and about, wasnt sure if you were gonna make it!" She teased. Froststar viewed Dustshade as an old friend, and respected her a good amount.

Stonestare saw petalblaze wandering around camp. Stonestare stalked over to him "hello petalblaze, would you like to go on a border patrol with me?" She asked her voice smooth as honey

Paleblaze nodded and chuckled a bit "Not gonna bite my tail off?" He said, then nodding.

Dustshade purred with happiness. "Ah, I'm as good as new!" She then coughed, as if on cue. "Well, maybe not as good as new but... doin' well is the best I can go with." Sure, she couldn't exactly run or fight anymore, but it didn't stop the old elder from at least trying to quicken up her pace sometimes.

She was born outside the clans, along with her sister. Things were normal, up until her parents disappeared when she was only three moons. Both kits unable to fend for themselves at the time, and believing their parents would return, they waited eagerly at the make-shift den that they knew as home. The two were attacked by a fox at one point, both making it out alive, only thanks to the clan. Her sisters injuries led to her demise, leaving only Honey, who was later known as Honeykit and then Honeypaw.

Grateful to the clan that rescued her, and tried to rescue her sister, she set out to be a great warrior to defend her new clan. She's a bit arrogant, seeming to think she can do anything, as long as its for the sake of defending her clan.
She usually doesn't really speak with others, because she worries that they might not accept her as a clan cat. The only cat she's willing to talk to is her current mentor.

Stonestare looked at him innocently then decided she wouldn't waste time. Stonestare flicked her tail from side to side casually as she walked through the camp entrance into the woods. Stonestare cocked her head back so she could see petalblaze "which border should we patrol?" She asked

Froststar purred. "StarClan cannot take you yet, you've still got some moons on you!" She meowed. "Have you gotten that cough checked out yet?" She asked, worried.

The tom stopped and stretched, then running a bit to catch up with Stonestare. "Hmm... it doesn't really matter to me." He shrugged and flicked his ears. He put his nose in the air and found a mouse scent. "...Hold that thought." Paleblaze said, following the scent. There it was! The mouse was nibbling on a nut. He dropped into a hunting crouch and inched closer, pouncing. And.. he missed. "Darn." Paleblaze muttered, padding back.

Dustshade had only become an elder about two moons ago, so Froststar must've been right. "Ah, it's probably nothin', just allergies maybe." She shrugged, but taking it in mind that if it got worse then she would ask Spottedwing about it.

Spottedwing padded back in the Medicine Cat den, laying down in her nest and resting. Ah, a bit of relaxation was always nice.

Stonestare watched as the gray tom attempted to catch a mouse. She laid her tail across his back "next time maybe" she turned back around ready to move onward "how about the border by the river? It's always nice there" she meowed

Paleblaze nodded, thinking of the river. It truely always was qutie serene and peaceful there. "Sure, it'll get my mind off of Clan troubleties." He replied, padding in the direction of the river. Maybe they could catch some fish.
