Doenose was dozing off but quickly picked up her pace, following Amberfall. She lifted her small brown nose and opened her mouth, scenting the fresh smells of the familiar forest.

She tried to smell the air, seeing if there was any prey. The scent mouse hit her, albeit faint. Turning her ears, she pinpointed the mouse, nibbling a nut that had fallen. She readied herself, carefully stalking the mouse.
She pounced, and...
And she missed. Frowning, she sighed. "Another one I missed..?"

Doenose looked over at Aspenflood. "There's always next time, am I right?" She mewed as she padded along, catching the scent of a rabbit. Perfect! This was her chance. Come on, come on... she followed the scent, putting her weight on her back. The young warrior finally spot the rabbit's obvious, white fluffy tail out from a green bush. She dropped into a hunting crouch, coming closer... and she pounced on the animal, and as quickly as she could, Doenose quickly and easily killed it with a sharp bite to the neck. "Thank you Starclan." The she-cat said, thanking her ancestors for this rabbit's life. She padded back with her catch in her jaws.

Amberfall, the ginger she-cat, was looking around the forest, needing to find a prey scent. She looked around, her ears open, her eyes scanning around the forest. She had seen something! It looked like a small fluffy tail. It had to be a squirrel! She followed the creature, until she was hidden in some bushes, looking at the creature. She was correct! It was a squirrel. She unsheathed her claws, hoping to catch it for the sake of her clan. A smirk came upon her face and immediately jumped on top of it, squishing it. The squirrel shrieked, Amberfall almost letting go for sympathy. She bite the squirrel, killing it.

Spottedwing sorted her herbs into their piles.

"Always a next time..." she mumbled to herself, before going back to hunting. She saw a thrush pecking at the ground. She was much better at hunting thrushes, in her opinion. Getting herself down into a crouch, she gently followed the thrush, pouncing on it. The thrush tried to fly up, though she had it pinned. Thanking StarClan, she quickly killed and buried it.

Froststar climbed some off the rocky paths, turning to watch as Amberfall led her patrol out of the camp and into the wooded part off their territory. The sun was rising higher in the sky, warming the stones. Froststar found a nice spot and rested for a while before heading back to camp.

Froststar pricked her ears as she heard her name. She quickened her pace until she caught up with Emberfall. Waving her tail in greeting, she meowed. "Yes?"

Dustshade walked out, seeing Froststar and hassling over to her. "Ah, Froststar, the old leader. How've you been?" She croaked, her voice scratchy with a hint of old memories to it. She talked to the leader with a charm, but still had respect in her words.

Spottedwing padded out, done with her work and looking around for something to do. "Hm..." She said to herself quietly.

Paleblaze padded around the camp, looking around. [Paleblaze and Spottedwing are up for interaction]
