Bramblefall nodded, "Sounds good" Tawnykit stuck his tongue out, whacking Tigerheart's muzzle with his paw.

Tigerheart snorted. "Your son really needs to learn to respect his elders," he meowed, touching Bramblefall's ear with his tail. He leaned back to the position he was in front of Tawnykit. "Careful, young tom, you might not even become an apprentice if you dont have respect." Swiftly, Tigerheart turned around, and padded out of the den, flicking his tail at Bramblefall, telling her to follow him so they could search for any holes and tunnels.

"That was very disrespectful young man." She frowned at Tawnykit. Bramblefall followed Tigerheart; she shook her head as she went.

Honeyflower blinked open her eyes. It was colder in the nursery than it had been in her twoleg home, but was warm compared to the recent days of rain and wind that always came with leaf bare. She knew queens such as herself were treated better then most cats but still wished for the comfort of kitty-pet life some day. Sighing, Honeyflower got to her paws and poked her head out of the den. Most of the clan were awake. Yawning and shaking her fur, she padded over to the fresh kill pile to get something to eat.

Parsleypaw woke to the usual smell of herbs. He avoided getting up for as long as possible, but eventually he got hungry and heaved himself up onto his paws. He ate a quick breakfast and returned to his den, waiting for his mentor to arrive and tell him what he would be learning that day. While he waited, he looked through supplies to see if they were low on stock of any herbs. The marigold looked slightly brown, and Parsleypaw decided he would tell Feathermist later.

Coalwhisper woke later than usual. He checked the fresh kill pile and noticed it seemed low. As he watched, Honeyflower and Parsleypaw each took something to each. As he wasn't particularly hungry yet, Coalwhisper chose to go hunting first. After all the prey wouldn't catch itself and he shouldn't waste any food in leaf bare.

Applefang lazed in her den, grumbling. Errg, I got ticks again. I wonder when those bee-brained apprentices are going to come help me. The elder itched her side with her hind paw, grunting.
