Breezestar looked down at her clanmates for a moment, trying to remember what she had to say during the ceremony. When she remembered what it was, she straightened herself up and called "Cats of WaveClan! The time has come to officially recognize these young cats as true apprentices". Looking over at the apprentices, she could see they all looked confident and determined. They'll train to be great warriors, just what the clan needs Breezestar thought to herself, taking a deep breath. "Russetpaw, Hawkpaw, and Tigerpaw, each of you has reached or passed the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day onward, Russetpaw's mentor will be Crowfeather, Hawkpaw's mentor will be Whitefoot, and Tigerpaw's apprentice will be Blossomsong. I hope each of your mentors passes down all he or she knows to you" she declared, and proceeded to touch noses with each apprentice.

Tigerpaw
Tigerpaw was estatic when he heard who his new mentor was. Leaping down from the Highrock, he quickly padded over to Blossomsong to greet her. "Blossomsong, I'm your apprentice now!" he gleamed, and bounced around the warrior in joy.

The young orange and white tom woke and saw most of the other apprentices gone. He did it again..overslept." Oh no..again? Geez.."He jolted up,standing on all fours and stretched his body out. After a quick wash, Hawkpaw walked out the den and flicked his ear towards the side some,inhaling a breath of fresh air. There was one thing on his mind..who was going to be his mentor? He was soon to find out today. He soon heard the leader and felt a chill of excitement and greeted white forward ." I can't to get hunting~ it'll be fun hunting with you."

Eaglestorm was sitting under a large tree by the fresh-kill pile when he heard his leaders voice echo through-out the camp. The deputy rose to his paws, strolling over to the high rock and taking a seat beside a few of the cats. His greyish fur was a mess, tangled with knots and such. He wasn't one to be neat and tidy, so his fur was usually this way. The Tom gazed up at the leader with a faint smile on his face, today the apprentices would be appointed a mentor to train them. After the leader announced all the mentors to the apprentices he jumped up to the high-ledge, needing to speak to her about organizing border and hunting patrols.


Spottedleaf woke up a little after the ceremony had taken place. Her tired eyes suddenly widened when she realized what she had missed. "Fox-dung.." She groaned and scrambled to her paws, quickly strolling out into the open clearing, noticing that the meeting was clearly over.

Breezestar
Breezestar leaped off of the Highrock with a soft thud and paced over to the fresh-kill pile. Noticing it wasn't very large, she decided it would be best to set up a hunting party. Locating Eaglestorm in the clearing, Breezestar padded over to him and whispered "The fresh-kill pile is running low on prey. Could you set up a hunting party to restock it again?".

Tigerpaw
Tigerpaw's eyes gleamed when he thought about all of the things his mentor would teach him. He knew that he would be taught basic skills such as how to stalk prey quietly and dodge enemy attacks, but what else could there be to learn? Pondering over that thought, he looked up to see a cloudless, blue sky and the blinding sun shining on the camp. Tigerpaw liked how serene it felt to think about nature, and remembered how he would always marvel at the night sky as a kit. Clearing his head, he walked back to the apprentice's den to take a nap.

[Kitty,]

WhiteFoot smiled at Hawkpaw and went back to the nursery, he quickly raced back out.
" Krestelthorn! Krestelthorn! Moonlight is having pains! She says her kits are coming!"
Stareye ran towards the nursery to his sister.
" Your going to be fine, Krestelthorn is coming" he reassured her.
