Riverleap followed them from behind. Her tail was making a trail through the grass and the running of the river rung in her ears. Oh Mosstail, if only the code was different… I miss you already… The tabby's eyes swelled with water but she blinked and the tears were gone. Ears drooped, the fae lashed her tail once in slight annoyance, but kept following the cats as they took a turn.

The elder smiled gently in relief as her old apprentice greeted her so nicely."I've been fine, thank you." She meowed, entering the den and sitting down by some empty nest."What about yourself? Have you been busy lately?" She asked with a soft smile.

"Hey, wait!" She called after the tom, picking up her pace. Quickly, she forced her way through the reeds and sand. It was quite difficult to run in the sand, especially while carrying the prey.

The leader padded through the forest border with a calm gaze - luckily, there seemed to be no other scents besides... She shook her head, not wanting the incident to bother her during the patrol.

"Well , kits are coming and that's about it. I'm taking this time to resock and check the herbs I currently have.:
" I stretch and open my mouth in a soundless yawn. " Want to help?"

"M- Me?" WillowPetal questioned, unsure wheater it was right for her to help. Altough she had gone mostly blind, she still had her sense of smell. Surely that was going to be somesort of help, right? "Well, I suppouse I could try and help." She meowed with a gentle smile.

Soon, the she-cat was able to catch up with SalmonFur. Swiftly moving past him, sliding down the small scoop that led to Camp, she quickly went to place away her prey before walking over to StonePaw who had woken up and was sitting by the apprentice den.

I chuckle a little and keep running. I slide away from the reed maze with the fish flapping in my face. I suddenly burst into a wall of reeds and pull to a hault as Mistyfeather leaps into the camp. I slowly pad in after her and drop my catch.

" Great!" I purr. " Could you check if we have any borage leaves? We'll most likely need some." I walk back to the poppyseeds and go back to fixing b them.

The she-cat gave a light nudge over StonePaws nose."Are you feeling better yet?" She asked with a gentle smile.

"Yeah! I got to rest a bit and PebbleShore even gave me a rabbit for changing her bedding." StonePaw answerd, looking in a much better condition that before.

"Sure." WillowPetal meowed, begging to sniff through the herbs. After a few brief moments of sniffing and remembering about the herbs, WillowPetal pawed out a few borage leaves."I found a few, but I'm quite sure you'll be needing more." She meowed, looking towards the medicine cats direction.

"Alright," I mew, remembering to get more leaves when I go out. I fix the poppy seed pile and sniff around the catnip. "I'll need more for leafbare," I murmur. I turn to my old mentor. "Have you eaten yet?" I ask, separating some mixed up juniper berries.

Fawnpaw looked over at Fernskip as she gave Mapleheart the poppy seeds. "Is that right?" The apprentice asked. The queen's leg was hurting, so she thought that hopefully the seeds would ease that pain.
