She looked around, the grassy plains, the wind in her pelt. She smiled brightly, seeing a rabbit nearby. She was crouching down, starring at the rabbit in her dream.

He sighed, cleaning his pelt, still thinking about the patrols. He looked at the leader's den wondering if Duskstar was around to lead some patrols.

"the kits looked very similar, duskstar! it's not my fault!" duskstar mocked, "you always have excuses, smoke! i bet risk could have gotten the job done right!" he paused, letting out another sigh, then added, "but that doesn't matter now. that matters is you got the right kit now."

tornheart noticed blizzardpelt hanging around the leader's den. "are you looking for duskstar?" he asked, approaching the older warrior. "i saw him leave camp earlier but i don't know where he went. he seemed pretty angry about something."

She slept in the elders den and woke up to the sound of a bird near the den, what is that bird doing near the clan doesn't it know there are cats nearby she sighed

"risk couldn't tell a mouse from a rabbit..."
He flings the kit over to him, licking a paw and swiping it indignantly over his nicked ear,
"he'd probably just bumble into the nursery and get attacked by angry she-cats..."

secretly, tornheart loved it when duskstar was gone. it was the one time the clan actually seemed safe but he knew blizzardpelt was right, the patrols needed to be sent out. he nodded, "we could try to find him. i'm sure he couldn't have went too far."

"risk could have got the right kit the first time!" duskstar growled, "he wouldn't have messed up then made excuses!"
