petalbreeze felt her blood boiling when she got a glimpse of a loner toying with breezekit before running off. "oh no you don't!" she spat, leaping out of the shadows and chasing after the strange tom, cuffing him across to muzzle so he might drop breezekit.

he hisses, feeling the whack against his muzzle just before he goes to dart off into the bushes. He flings breezekit in the way of the clan cats outstretched claws.
He backs away, hissing through the bundle of soft kitten-fur,
"come any closer and your stupid kit gets it, mouse-brain!"

the she-cat looked at the tom angrily. why had dusk star let him play around with him like that? petalbreeze always felt there was something up with duskstar. "let go of him! he's not your kittypet toy!" she retorted, leaping her way behind the tom and swiping him off his paws, before rushing over to breezekit, trying her hardest to gently yank him from the tom's jaws.

the large tom immediately backed off from petalbreeze and smoke, watching them fight. "petalbreeze," he said finally, his voice loud and furious, "you have no business being out here. i will handle this loner and breezekit!" of course he didn't really mean it but figured it was worth a try.

the Large but unsteady tom lumbers and topples, glaring as he flings the helpless kit through the air before petalbreeze can grab it, towards a nearby inhabited badger hole, twisting and latching his sharp teeth onto the she-cats tail,
"i told you to back off!"

petalbreeze yowled in pain, before looking over to duskstar. "no! we're a part of cloud clan too!" she mewed to him, whimpering in pain. she whipped her gaze back to the loner, before locking her jaws down on his thin ear, then keeping her lock on his head by sinking her claws into the sides of his face. "you back off! this isn't your territory, fox-dung!"

he hisses in rage, tearing his ear free, ignoring the burning pain and blood running down into his eyes, to throw himself at the she-cat, his larger body pinning her down as he snaps and aims for her neck,
"you don't own the forest, flea-fur!"

petalbreeze gasped for air, before narrowing her eyes as her leader sat and watched. "are you just going to let me die, duskstar?!" she questioned loudly, before trying to push the ragged tom off, using all her limbs.

he snarls, giving a deep and painful warning bite to her shoulder before raking his stone-sharpened claws down her side, flinging her away and leaping off,
"leave us!"

she screeched in pain, blood rushing quickly from her body. her vision went blurry, but she shook it off and stumbled weakly to her paws, spitting out a nick of his ear before limping over to breeze kit, gently lapping him into her jaws before stumbling back into camp, blood being her trail. she tripped over her own paws, tumbling into the nursery as she dropped breezekit onto his mother's nest. this time she went unconscious, a small pool of blood forming around her.
