Greynose listened to everything Mistystar said and repeated some things in his head so he could remember. So once she was finished speaking he dipped his head greatfully and meowed "Thanks Mistystar. I'll go send out the patrol now, but wait here because there's one more thing id like to ask once I'm done" The puffy furred maine coon then exited the den, Taking a few seconds to figure out the cats he wanted for the patrol. Then nodding at his choices he padded quietly to the middle of the camp and called out the names of the cats he chose. "Pinefalls! Ashpaw! Darkpelt!"

Ross had eyed Creak pacing a while after he had bugged his sister Icicle, then came the time when the fellow To-be left camp. The perfect opportunity to do a little pranking. So with this thought in his mind he mischievously chuckled to himself as he exited camp with his head drooped low as he of corse felt sneaky. Creak seemed to be a lot faster than he had thought since he was already out of Ross's sight. He let out a slight snort he followed the young tomcat's scent to the spot where he was stopped and was now grooming the fur on his shoulder for some odd reason. Sadly for Ross there was no thick undergrowth that would hide him if he got close enough to do a normal scare. So resting that case he pondered up a new idea and readied himself to put it into action. So with a smug grin on his face he shot out of the bushes and darted right for Creek while letting out a "BOO!!" As he tackled him.

All of his concentration being on grooming his shoulder, Creak barely heard the yell of "boo" and flicked his ears in the direction while continuing his task. Well, that was what he would have done if not for the slightly larger weight than himself landing on him. Creak let out a high pitched yelp and yet again hit the ground.

The not-so-white-anymore tom laid there for a few seconds, stunned, waiting with his eyes closed. When he regained his thought processing, Creak realised it was one of his clanmates, Ross, a to-be six moons his senior. He looked up at Ross, with slight anger, "What was that for?" Creak hissed coldly, "I didn't do anything to you."

When Leafpaw sat, Crowpaw took it as a cue that he could have the rest of the shrew. Moving foward again, he bent down and finished the shrew in a couple of bites since most of it was gone already anyway.

Sandwhisker rolled her eyes when he laughed at her reaction when a raindrop hit her. As she followed Snare, she realized that she'd probably be lost without him if she wanted to get somewhere. Well, there'd be plenty of time for exploring and familiarizing herself with the area later. When he looked back at her, she smiled briefly before speeding up to follow him to the maple tree.

Crowpaw licked his lips after finishing his shrew, and turned his attention to the white-furred kit and her request. He glanced over at Leafpaw and shrugged. He wouldn't mind playing with Poppykit, but he didn't want to commit Leafpaw if he didn't want to. "Well, what do you want to play?" He asked.

"My sister, brother, and I sometimes pretended to be leaders or deputies," he answered. "But then she got all grumpy," he murmured. But, who could blame her? She wanted to be a medicine cat, but she knew she'd have to do it without a proper mentor. He'd probably be stressed and grumpy too, if he were in her position. But it wasn't all true either. Rowanpaw was only a little grumpy. Not all that much. "We could play mossball too," he suggested, "But we'd have to find more moss, seeing that you've shredded that clump," he said looking at the remnants of the mossball Poppykit was playing with earlier.

The scrawny tree that stood near him provided very little shelter, so he hadn't intended on stopping here, except to allow the she cat a moment to catch up before continuing. Besides, they had been walking for barely a minute or two, and the twoleg place was still in view from where he stood. So, as soon as Sandwhisker reached his side, he began to lead the way again; but this time, his pace matched hers so that they could walk together among the trees and chat. "So, what have you been up to while you were indoors?" He asked her cautiously, for he was afraid to remind her of the home she had just left, but he was still interested to know what attracted kittypets to the lifestyle, and how they spent their days.

The second the sound of his own name reached his ears, he raised his head and looked around, disoriented from sleep. But, once his vision focused, he saw that cats were gathered in the middle of camp, and he realized that it had been the deputy that had called him. He got up without a complaint a padded towards the tom, fully expecting him to assign Pinefalls to a task. Pinefalls had nothing to do all day now that Willowsprite was gone, so he was lucky to get a chance to be added to a patrol, for which he was grateful. Snare joined his apprentice, Ashpaw and looked expectantly at Greynose, quietly waiting for his request.
