Kingkit opened his eyes for the first time. He felt that he belonged where he was. Right where his mother's belly was. It was warm. A feeling he never forgot. When he was able to go out to see the other clan members, it was all so new to him. He looked around the nursery at the other kits. He then looked at his mother. She was smiling at him and licked the top of his head with her gentle tongue. He purred in delight and rubbed against his mother. He felt sleepy and went back to sleep, laying his small head on his mother's front paws. He felt her smiling down on him and slept for what felt like forever.

Pineheart stretched, standing just outside the warriors den. His jaws parted in a wide yawn having woken up only a little bit ago and still felt a bit tired. The warrior stood up straight and shook out his short blue coat of fur before glancing around camp.

The mostly white she-cat roused in her nest just waking up. She lifted her head and opened her eyes before slowly sitting up. She cast a glance over at Owltree and her new litter before turning her attention to the prey that had been left by her nest. The queen leaned down to sniff at it cautiously before taking a small bite. Soon enough though Aqua was hungrily devouring the prey.

Foxpaw bounced around the camp. The energetic apprentice was on search of someone to entertain him but hadn't yet found anyone willing to pay attention to him long enough for his liking. Foxpaw had been awake since early dawn, always quite the early riser.

The young Siamese was sitting up in his nest silently grooming his short pelt. His long, slender tail lay sprawled out behind him. Berrypaw licked one of his paws and drew it over each of his ears one after the other.

Cantersky woke up and instantly looked for Pineheart. She spotted him and wanted to go say hi but wasn't sure if she'd just be bothering him. She sat at the warrior's den entrance watching him.
