He padded over the fresh-kill pile. As he walked, he passed by the elder's den. He saw Pinefur sitting there, a wise look on his face that only an elder warrior could make. Deciding that this other cat could be a good conversational partner, Jayshadow picked up both a mouse for himself, and a plump vole for Pinefur. After all, it would be rude to turn up there without bringing a gift. Carrying the two prey items, he dropped them as he reached the elder den. He pushed the vole towards Pinefur, and kept the mouse by his own paws.
"Beautiful morning, isn't it?" he observed, sitting down and making himself comfortable. "I hope it is a sign of good hunting, that would be nice for the Clan."
He wondered if Pinefur ever missed going on hunting trips. Now that he was retired, Jayshadow figured that the old cat didn't get out much. He knew that if he was in this position, he would go hunting every chance he got. This thought gave him an idea.
"Perhaps we could hunt together this morning?" he suggested. He hoped that Pinefur would accept his offer; perhaps there were a few things the old cat could teach him.

"Good morning, Jayshadow," Pinefur greeted, gratefully taking the vole. "Thank you for the meal." Pinefur reminisced at the days he spent hunting with his clanmates, missing it greatly. "...I would love to go hunting. It's been so many moons."

On the outside, he simply smiled, but on the inside, he was jumping up and down in excitement. Here was Pinefur, the oldest - and arguably wisest - cat in the Clan, agreeing to go hunting with him! Jayshadow felt that today would definitely be a good day.
"Great!" he said, sounding a lot calmer than he felt. He quickly devoured the mouse he had picked up from the fresh-kill pile, then looked up at Pinefur.
"Where would you recommend we hunt?" he asked, suddenly curious. As experience as Pinefur was, Jayshadow was sure that he knew all of the best hunting grounds.

Kira hear Tigerpaw's mew and wondered what had happened to the cheeky apprentice. When she arrived she noticed that the she-cat's paw was bleeding, So she was being like a squirrel? Kira asked herself as she walked away to find the right herbs needed. She gathered the Marigold, for infection, the cobwebs, for bleeding, and a poppy head, for the pain relieving seeds. She placed the items next to Tigerpaw and began to chew the Marigold, put the pulp on her injured paw, then wrap it with the cobwebs. After she finished with that she licked her paws while waiting for the she-cat to wake, or for a cat that knew Tigerpaw to find her.

"Ah, you're awake, acting like a squirrel will do you no good" Kira mewed jokingly about her climbing the tree, "You're paw wasn't that bad, but you shouldn't put any pressure on it for quite awhile." She stared at her with her eyes happy that she'll be okay, Thank you for teaching me about that, Shallowflight she thought as she stared at Tigerpaw.
