he chuckled under his breath and followed her. once he reached the lake, he turned to oceanpaw. "what fish have you tried to catch before? if you haven't tried fishing we'll start with the basics" he explained

the tortoiseshell she-cat was lying on her back, her eyes closed stubbornly as she refused to open them to the sun-filled world. she hated waking up; she loved the comfort that sleep gave her. with a not so hidden sigh, she stretched her legs and back before she slowly stood up and shook the moss scraps from her fur. she walked out of the den, hissing as she was met by the blinding sunlight that had filled most of the camp. she sat down and began to groom her short and, usually, tidy fur.
after hearing her name being called, she stood up and walked towards the camp entrance and waited silently, having no opinion on the patrol. a patrol was a patrol in her mind.

she rolled her eyes in amusement "you cheated" she said, faking grumpiness, before she chuckled and stood up. "i'll get you back for that" she warned, smiling before she licked his cheek and then carried on walking. "I'm not running anymore" she called over her shoulder, slowing down so he could catch up
(its friday so i'll stay up later so our time zones won't clash xD)

she nodded "I've never been here before" she admitted. she had honestly just been following a small, overgrown dirt path with no intention of thinking about where it lead. she stepped over a large tendril of knotted ivy, not wanting to get stuck in the vines before she glanced around the area, hoping nothing dangerous lived in this part of the territory

"well, we have finally found something older than you" she joked, chuckling softly. after turning a corner, she stopped dead in her tracks when she saw a medium sized cave entrance. "woah" she muttered. "why do you think they stopped coming here?" she asked before she went up to the entrance and peered inside. "theres a tunnel" she called over her shoulder. indeed, there was a tunnel that presumably lead deeper inside the cave. she walked back over to snowleopard "should we go inside?" she asked

she followed "uh...is this a bad time to say i hate the dark? and when i say hate...i mean hate" she chuckled nervously before she started to follow her nose and whiskers instead of her eyes since now, they were completely engulfed in darkness. she didn't hate the darkness; she just hated not knowing what could be hidden in the dark.
