The leader was up all night, stalking around for prey. She comes back with a mouth full of prey and quickly drops them in the pile. She runs into her den, falling asleep.

Mudkit is sleeping.

Daisyheart.
Daisyheart was sleeping in her strange way again. The cat had been sleeping on her back, mumbling things she saw in her dreams.

Leaf.
Leafpaw got up slowly, but very soon he looked like he was about to explode happiness.

Not far from the camp, the young tom crouched silently in the long grasses near some bushes. About two foxlengths away, a mouse foraged absentmindedly, on an endless quest for food. Jayshadow was satisfied that it hadn't seen him yet, and he took a step forward. The mouse looked up, and Jayshadow's paw hovered in the air. When the mouse looked away again, his paw stepped down to the floor, and he moved forward. When the mouse buried its nose in the ground to find something, the tom struck. There was a loud squeak, causing a few birds to scatter, and then there was silence. Jayshadow stood up, the mouse hanging limply from his jaw. He had a small smile on his face, proud that this hunt had been successful.
He trotted happily back to camp, satisfied that this would be enough to bring back. He planned to go hunting again after breakfast, and maybe take Chestnutpaw with him to help. In fact, he would definitely take Chestnutpaw with him. He had only been a mentor for a day or two, and he was still getting used to taking another cat everywhere with him. As he stepped into the camp, he was slightly disappointed that Chestnutpaw did not seem to be awake yet. Instead, the only apprentice visible was Leafpaw.
Dropping the mouse on the fresh-kill pile, he padded over to Leafpaw.
"Hey, good morning." he greeted, sounding chipper. "Do you know if Chestnutpaw is up yet? I want to take him hunting with me." He hoped Leafpaw knew, as he wanted to get back out there as quickly as possible.

Leaf.
The apprentice looked at Jayshadow. "Chestnutpaw? Ohh no. Chestnutpaw is sleeping and looks so comfortable sleeping it almost makes me want to go back to sleep too, but... I am awake now." Leafpaw mrowed to the warrior.

Jayshadow nodded knowingly, it was still rather early in the morning, so it was understandable that his apprentice would probably still be asleep. "Ok, thanks for telling me!" he replied. Then a thought popped into his head. "Oh, if you'd like, if Chestnutpaw still isn't awake by the time I've eaten breakfast, I could help you with any hunting training?" he suggested. "That is, if your mentor doesn't already have plans for you." he said with a grin.

Leaf.
Leafpaw's pupils grew wide. "Well I'm sure my mentor doesn't have any plans today. Plus I have a feeling this day will be a nice day... Let my mentor enjoy it," he said with a smile as he jumped around the warrior.

Pleased, he gave the apprentice another smile. "Great!" he said, padding over to the fresh-kill pile. Feeling polite, he asked: 'Would you like to join me for breakfast?"

The leader pretends to yawn, stalking out of her den. She wasn't in a good mood, and she sits near the fresh-kill pile, snagging a vole.

Leaf.
The apprentice nodded quickly, he was actually getting quite hungry. He bounded over to the fresh-kill pile. What should I eat? he thought to himself, as there were many choices. Leafpaw ended up picking a plump mouse, as he thought it was the best thing to eat.

He followed Leafpaw, still in a good mood. At the fresh-kill pile, he spotted the Clan's leader, Rainstar. Completely oblivious to her bad mood, he padded right over to her. "Good morning, Rainstar." he said, flicking his tail in greeting. "What are the plans for the Clan today?"
