Jayshadow is an averaged sized cat, with short, brown tabby fur and sharp amber eyes. Those eyes are attracted to movement, following everything that moves past them with great interest. This of course makes him incredibly easy to distract, and one may divert his attention simply by kicking a rock past him. His observance makes him an excellent hunter, but he is disappointing when on patrol. Another cat has to go out with him to keep him in check. He was originally born into another Clan, and completed his apprenticeship there. However, he left when twolegs moved into their territory and set poison traps, killing many cats. He became a Warrior of DewClan after traveling for many moons.

The Medicine Cat of DewClan, he
has been there since the day he was
born. His gentleness with younger
cats is admirable, but he can often
be too shy or quiet with older cats.

He is the gentle Medicine Cat of DewClan. He socializes better with cats that are
younger than him, as he finds cats his age or older to be hard to talk to. He is
incredibly patient with everyone, and will listen to anyone who needs to talk.
When it comes to his apprentice, he doesn't mind going over the same lesson
again and again until she gets it right.
He is often regarded as being too quiet, and will rarely share any information
by choice. This has gotten him into a little bit of trouble over the years, as
he will sometimes conceal how sick cats actually are. He thinks that it is
sometimes better that family members don't know.
