Mousetalon frowned, she was confused. What's happening??? she shouted in her head.

Wishpaw woke with a start. Her heart thumped, then she calmed down.
"Musta fallen asleep," she muttered to herself, before stretching and shaking little strands off moss off her fur. The grey kit peered out of the entrance. The storm had stopped, but it seemed to have only just stopped. There were big puddles of water dotted around camp, and there were probably more outside.

"Well, that's good, I guess." Shadowheart said as he backed up to make room for Ravenfeather to come down. He looked across MistClan territory and sighed, there was no use to do a border patrol, no cat could make it across the river now. "We should probably just focus all our patrols on hunting." He mewed.

"Well from the way the water was any prey would be forced onto one of the spots that wasn't flooded so we might have a better chance at finding prey." Ravenfeather realized.

Shadowheart nodded and sniffed the air for prey, "The rabbits burrows will be full of water, so I guess they will be easy to catch now that they don't have somewhere to hide." He noticed. Then he stopped and lifted his tail for Ravenfeather to be quiet too, he smelled rabbit. He lowered himself and stalked forward until he saw the flash of white to the left of him, he took off full speed and slipped on the wet grass, sending him tumbling head over paws into a bush. He hissed crossly and pulled away from the prickly bush, looking at the rabbit speed away.

Ravenfeather saw the light that meant the sun was rising. "We should go wake everyone up and tell them the news." She walked towards camp, her black fur shining like obsidian in the early light.
