She shivered slightly at the feel of his fur, and stopped a few moments later. She dropped into a crouch, stalking forward. A mouse was digging around in the moss. She wriggled her hunches, ready to spring at any moment. She pounced, and killed it with one strike. She stood up, her tail raised proudly as she trotted back to him with the mouse in her jaws.

''nice catch'' he meows flicking his ears narrowing his eyes looking around he had heard movement ''just a bird.'' he mumbled as he watched a blackbird fly out of a tree near by

She nodded and looked around. "So.. what do you want your full name to be?" She asked, burying her catch to get later.

Applepaw brushed her tail down his side. "They should name you Softfur. Your fur feels like the feathers queens use to line their kits nests." She joked.

he purred ''im sure its how i got my name'' he meows licking his chest fur embarrassed

"I know where I got my name." She meowed. "Follow me." She stood up and bounded forward, towards the stream, leaping over the rushing water gracefully. She continued forward and stopped at a full, green filled Apple tree that was just starting to bloom. She sat down in front of it, her eyes trailing over the delicate leaves. "Mom says that my grandmother was buried here, and that her name was Primrosestream. She says she named me Applekit because I would turn out just like the Apple tree. Beautiful." She murmured.
