Applepaw padded up to softpaw, looking at him with wide, curious eyes. "Hello." She mewed. "You are training to be a guard, right?" She asked, sitting down in front of him and curling her tail around her paws.

he nodded ''just like my father'' he meows proudly fluffing out his chest fur his whiskers twitching

She smiled. "What do you learn as a guard?" She asks. "To be a warrior we have to learn special fighting and hunting skills. There are a lot of different attack moves and hunting crouches." She adds, her ears flicking.

''well ive got to make sure theres no danger like.. foxes badgers or.. mistpool'' he meows flicking his ears ''i know how to hunt but i dont do it often'' he meows flicking his ears looking around camp

"Do you want to go hunting?" She asks, suddenly seeming a bit shy. "The fresh kill pile is pretty empty, and I think some of the warriors haven't eaten." She adds.

he nodded ''but dont you think we need a warrior to leave camp with us?'' he meowed his tail brushing the ground

"I don't usually go out with a warrior. I can protect us." She meows, flexing her claws, fluffing her fur up so her small body looked a little bigger.

Sunbeam

"No I don't need help. I just want Frostfeather back." She gets to her paws. "Everything will be alright. I know you think that but I can't believe it. I just can't I'm sorry. I just don't know what to do without him. He was everything to me and now I feel like nothing without him." She looked across the camp. "Everything was perfect. . . I just wish it still was."

she frowned ''i felt the same way with oakfang.. i felt like i could never be happy again i still do sometimes but you just have to look to the bright side.'' she meows softly sitting down curling her tail around her paws ''ill talk to frostfeather if you like'' she meows pawing the ground

he rolled his eyes sightly ''im sure mistpool would eat you alive'' he purred playfully flicking his tail he cuffed her around the ear

She giggled and stood up. "C'mon, we can survive without a warrior for a little while. We can stay on this side of the forest. And besides, you could hear her commuting and I could fight her off." She meowed, trotting out of the camp.
