Sunbeam

She flattens her ears against her head trying to block out the sounds. She just wished everything would be alright. She felt like she was dead but not allowed to die alive but as good as dead.

Thornheart sighed and licked his chest fur a couple times. Applepaw bounced over with a mouse in her jaws. She set it down in front of him. "Frostfeather said you need to eat so that your body is.. um.. oh yea! Healthy enough to heal that wound." She meowed, smiling before turning and trotting away. Thornhearts stomach growled and he took a bite of the mouse.

Echopaw
She sightly rested her head on his side she slowly blinked she sighed she wanted to talk to thornheart about sometime but she thought he was mad at her and it wasn't the right time to bring it up

Flame
She walked up to sunbeam resting her tail over her back she kindly licked her ears "is there anything I can do to help?" She asked she noticed sunbeam was carrying kits and didn't look happy about it

She looked up her one eye wide and sad. A tear glittered at the corner. "no I guess I'm just not meant to be happy." She whispers laying her head back down on her paws.

Thornheart swallowed his bite. "Are you okay?" He asked, flicking her shoulder with his tail. "You can have some of the mouse if you want."

Honeytail sat up. "Of course you are! Trust me, those kits will be the best thing that ever happened to you. With or without a father who cares." She meows.

"But Mosskit visited me and told me I didn't deserve to be happy after I fell in love with Frostfeather." She explains. "I just wish they would have a father to help me with them."

She flicked her tail looking at honeytail giving a little nod "Of course you should be happy." She meows softly curling her tail around her paws "it's hard sometimes but trust me you will find your happiness" she meows thinking about oakfang she slowly blinked holding back a wail

Echopaw
She shook her head "I just have something on my mind that's all." She meows softly laying down next to him

"He said it was a mistake and that being a medicine cat was more important! I heard him talking to Lunarstar about it!" She blurtd out a tear rolling down her cheek.

Thornheart licked her forehead and finished off his mouse. He sighed and closed his eyes. When he opened them he saw Rosepaw leading Nightwhisker around the camp slowly. "That's flame, Honeytail, and sunbeam." She meowed slowly to the elderly Tom. When he nodded in understanding, she moved on. "That's Echopaw and Thornheart."

Honeytail shook her head. "Itll all be ok, Sunbeam. That little kit doesn't need a father. You got all the help you need, right in the nursery." She meows, licked her ears to try and calm her down. "Why don't we go for a walk?" She suggested. "Its a beautiful day today."
