He finished the mouse and settled himself down to give himself a good washing. His pelt was unkempt and ratty. He pulled at the knots and licked them down, the only sound he was focusing on was Echopaw breathing. He paused for a second. "I.. I love you." He meowed quietly.

"I love you more." She meowed before rolling over onto her back like she would as a kit her ears flicked dont worry you will see the forest soon she thought licking her chest fur she reached up her paws stretching out her forepaws "only if I could lay like this everyday" she purred

He settled down next to her, purring. "Of course you can. Now that your extremely pregnant, all you have to do is sit and eat." He meowed, trying to keep his voice as serious as possible but not being able to hold off his usual grin.

Echopaw
She rolled her eyes knowing he had a grin on his face. she rolled over into to her paws and batted at his ear, "you know we can't do this as much once the kits are born." She meowed softly

He sighed, but not in sad tone. He was still grinning. "Of course we could. We would just have a couple bundles of fur in between." He meowed, flicking her nose with his tail.

"Well come with me. But I have to warn you there's this one cat in the camp who might try to claw you. His name is Thornheart and he thinks the whole world revolves around him. "And he thinks her kits are all his!" He growls under his breath.

She nods and then tilted her head slightly. "What was that last bit? I couldn't hear you." She meowed.

"It's just that there is this cat Echopaw that Thornheart and this other tom like and Thornheart acts like when her kits are born they will be his."

She still looked confused. "If he's this Echopaws.. mate, wouldn't he be the father? And whose the name of the other Tom?" She meowed.

"Well he's not officially her mate I don't think at least. And she likes the other tom too and he is almost certain that the kits are his as well." And the other tom's name is Ash..thorn!" He said quickly. "Yes"
