Brightstar sighed and rose to his paws. He
looked around the camp and spotted Purpleflower.
He took a deep breath and then trotted to the she-cat.
Brightstar sat next to her and looked around nervously.
"So.. Purpleflower..." he said awkwardly.
Then he turned to her and sighed, keeping his eyes
on his paws. "I'm really sorry, but I just don't feel quite
the same that you feel about me. I hope that we can still
be friends and normal clanmates even with this incident."
he said and sighed again.

and started to purr quietly. She licked the kit's
