The young tom had been unable to sleep despite how hard he tried. Padding outside of the den, he gazed around camp, wondering about how he could start his day.

Realizing it was morning and time to wake up, the gray she-cat let out a quiet sigh. Forcing herself out of her nest, still half-asleep, she stretched, letting out a loud yawn before exiting the den.

Twistedfoot had no intentions of waking up any time soon. He rolled over in his nest, mumbling in his sleep as he dreamed about when he was a warrior and his joints didn't ache constantly. Those were the days!

Dapplemoon lifted her head up and looked around the Warriors den. Most were awakening from their slumber, while some were still snoozing off. She stood up then shook the loose moss strands and grass blades of of her sleek pelt. She yawned silently and padded gracefully out of the den.

Thornleaf stood up. He stretched out his left hind leg. The tom looked at all of the other felines, in and outside of the den. He padded across the camp and climbed up a large aspen tree. He perched on the branch while the others emerged from the dens.

The calico she-cat had woken up, but she chose to stay curled up in her nest. She wrapped her tail tightly around herself and tucked her small paws underneath her.

The old apprentice briskly got up. He was very excited that sunrise was finally there. He energetically paced in the clearing. His tail swayed with every stride of his legs.

Ryeleaf had woken up earlier. He climbed up the tree and onto the branch Thornleaf was sitting on. He smiled at the brute before jumping down and looking around and about for something to do.

Speckleddream brush quickly out of the den. She sat down in the center of the clearing. She quietly began grooming herself. She tried to hide how eager she was to get the day started, but it showed very well.
