Echokit sqeaked happily and tackled her mother. She climbed onto her ear and pulled on it. She glanced at her mothers belly. "What are those?" She mewed tilting her head. Little did she know it was her siblings.

Echokit sat down and bobbed her head up and down. "Tell me a story! Tell me a story!" She mewed happily.

She sighed and gaped at the kit in confusion. "I don't have any stories.." She said in awe. "Sorry.." She licked her head and looked at the kit with pity.

He nodded "a group of badgers attacked camp... most of them were killed off but my father.... went to lure it away... he knew he would end up dying but he did it for SmokeLeap and I..." he sighed quietly, tears beginning to well up in his eye but he shook them away and puffed out his chest... her paw lingered on his arm, it felt warm and firm to her touch. she saw how heartbroken this made him and she leaned in a bit and nuzzled him comfortingly, "I'm sure he did" her eyes darted down to her paw, still on his arm, and back into his stare "I had a brother who, uh" her voice cracked slightly recalling old memories "same thing but a fox" she sighed a bit

he squealed happily and leaped off, he pawed at his sister for her to go and he bounded happily into the nursery wobbling around on unsteady legs and he begun burrowing under the moss in the den...

He sighed and laid his tail on her shoulder and tensed his muscles slightly "im sorry..." he murmured and pressed his cheek to hers, his tail slid from her shoulders and his curled happily and closed his amber eyes softly, a tear falling from his cheek and he pulled his face away, licking his chest fur embarrassed he chuckled slightly, feeling his pelt prickle... "uhhhh! I uhhh didn't mean to uhhhh" he exclaimed, shocked now that reality finally hit him...

"no it's okay you're fine" she said to him, taking her paw off his arm, licking it and cleaning the back of her neck slightly "it's not your fault, really" she gave him a quick lick on the cheek, and by star clan if she wasn't blushing before, she was now. she shifted on her feet slightly "it's okay." she relaxed slightly and was somewhat surprised to realize she had told him about her brother, she hadn't told anybody in the clan much anything about what had happened to her before she came her and joined the clan. something about him she instinctually felt she could trust. she smiled a bit at the thought.

finally succeeding with his plan AshKit burrowed under the moss and curled up at the entrance, falling asleep almost immediately at the thought that his mother would have to play hide and seek!

He smiled casually and relaxed his muscles, staring into her green gaze, he had nothing to say just... "your different than all the she-cats ive met..." his words unsteady still by what had happened seconds ago and he didn't know what to say... he scuffled the ground with his forepaws, still embarrassed...
