Cream stood as well, more tired than Stormpaw but able to make it back home. "Should we go without stopping, or stop and rest once in a while? I don't know about you, but I'm sore all over, and would appreciate a rest once in a while. Is it far to camp?"

Cream started padding in the direction of the hole he'd fallen down. "I wonder if we can get back up the way I fell down?"

"Good, because I don't know another way out. Did you fall down the same hole I did, or a different hole?" Cream asked, tilting his head slightly.

"Oh." Cream meowed, then started walking again. "Did you swim in that nasty, gross, wet water?"

"You're still a bit damp." Cream mewed. "I had to swim through too; that's why I'm all soggy."

Cream picked up the pace to a slow lope. "Can you go faster, or no?" he mewed.

"Oh, all right." Cream meowed. "Just let me know if we need to go slower, okay?"

"That's true." Whisperpaw said, stopping again to think.

"Now, can you scent any smell that seems odd?" Cherryblossom prompted.

Whisperpaw took a deep breath, and something smelled odd. "Wait, hold on..." She stated, getting closer.
