Forestfire pushed the moss towards Lily. "Drink," she meowed. "It will help."

Moonkit gagged and started to cough harder, trembling.

Cloudkit watched Moonkit cough and hack, eyes wide with fear.

Lily started to drink some of the moss. However, she started to sputter and cough, like Moonkit had. She thought of Illuminatedkit, and in the fear from the thought of dying, she didn't notice Moonkit.

Moonkit collapsed on the ground, still struggling to breathe.

Cloudkit looked to Forestfire for reassurance, but all he saw in her eyes was fear and horror. "I.. I'll take care of Moonkit. You keep helping that cat." he said, quickly fetching more wet moss. When his sister attempted to drink it, she retched and started to throw up, unable to keep anything down.

Forestfire just nodded uneasily, and turned back to Lily, only to start coughing herself.

Lily finally became aware of her own surroundings and looked at the cats who struggled to breathe. She caught her own ragged breath, took the moss reluctantly, and started to stumble back to camp. "T-th... " that was all she could manage out. They're all gonna die..

Forestfire just nodded weakly in response, coughing too hard to speak.

Moonkit had stopped coughing, and she was barely breathing. Gradually, she stopped breathing, and her eyes rolled back in her head.

"Wh-What?! No! No, please, Moonkit!" Cloudkit begged, horrified, as he witnessed his sister die in front of his eyes.

"D-doe.." Lily sputtered, leaning against the medicine den. Tears were sparked in her eyes- not only because she felt like she was dying, but because she made others feel that way. Luckily, she was in a very early stage of it.

Doeleap twitched an ear, hearing half of her name. Rushing to Lily's side, she scanned the she-cat for injuries or other symptoms of illness. "The same thing Illuminatedkit had... come into the medicine den."

Forestfire was wheezing now, and soon stopped moving, her eyes half-open but clouded.

"No, no, not you too! Please! Stay with me, please!" Cloudkit choked out between coughs and sobs, picking up first his sister's limp form and putting her on his back, then his mother, carrying her by the scruff as if she were still alive. I'll follow that cat's scent trail and see where it takes me, he decided, soon making his way to the camp and collapsing in the entrance, a trickle of blood dripping from the side of his mouth.

Lily started wheezing as tears dripped into her fur. "T-th- they're all g-gonna die because of me!"

Featherheart

Featherheart slowly passed out of the nursery. Pantherkit had been coughing, but Featherheart still believed it wasn't anything to be worried about yet. She hoped it wasn't the other stuff going around. She looked around camp wondering if anyone else needed help while she went to get some wet moss.
