Wintersong followed the scent of mouse and came upon a surprising group of two, she began to stalk them, thinking about going for both, then rethinking it, if she went for both, she would have less of a chance at getting even one. She stared at one of the mice, got as close as she dared, and pounced, landing on its tail, she quickly bit it's spine and turned to see the other mouse already gone "Even one mouse is food for the Clan" she murmured softly "Now I wonder where Rookpaw is" she muttered

Lilypaw made her way to the back of the castle and carefully sniffed around, chirping when she caught the scent of Dock Leaves, quickly bounding over she carefully removed the leaves from the stem with her claws, when she had as many as she could get without killing the plant, she held the leaves carefully in her mouth and padded away toward the Medicine Cat Den.

The grey and black tabby looked around curiously, her amber orbs glowing warmly as she padded out of the warrior's den. She picked out a rabbit from the prey pile and ate it slowly. As she finished, she saw Hawkpaw nearby. "Hawkpaw!" She mewed, her voice silky and soft. "Are you ready to go on a battle lesson?" She ruffled her fluffy, soft pelt and let the sun soak into her fur.

Leafpaw was basking in the sun, her white fur drinking in the light. She sat up, blinking her green and blue eyes. She stared around, noticing Badgerpaw. "Hi," She mewed softly, shuffling her fluffy paws. "I was wondering if you wanted to go on a hunting patrol with me. I still have to ask Thunderheart if we can even go though. I'll be right back." She scampered over to Thunderheart, licking his cheek in greeting. "Thunderheart," She pleaded, her pupils growing. "Can me and Badgerpaw please go on a hunting patrol? We are so bored!"

I’ve been practicing a few moves!” Hawkpaw replied, he started to groom his ruffled pelt quickly, and bounced up, his eyes gleaming with excitement. “Did Wintersong assign any patrols yet?” he asked, looking at his mentor.

After searching for a good while she gave up "Probably out exploring" she muttered, padding into the main area of the castle she noticed some cats sitting around, looking inpatient and bored "Ok" she meowed "Ashfeather lead the border patrol, take Hawkpaw of course. Graystrike and Wolfpaw can also go with you" she nodded and turned to another "Thunderheart you can go on the hunting patrol with Leafpaw and Dustmuzzle with me" she meowed

Lilypaw padded into the open, watching Wintersong assign the patrols. "Finally get some cooped cats out of here" she purred with laughter, turning to look at a vine growing on the wall "Ooo! Raspberry Leaves" she grinned, distracted. Collecting a bunch of the leaves.

~Mist is hunting~

The air aunt Mist felt still and unsettling, he wasn't used to being under a roof or between walls, if felt suffocating to say the least. But the tom continued onward, his mouth still parted for scents as he unknowingly trekked further into Clan territory.

The silver tom soon had to pause, his stomach causing quite of an aching uproar as he realized his own hunger. He knew he wasn't in clan territory (or at least he thought he wasn't) so he switched his senses to hunting. Mist perked his ears as he listened for any sense of prey, nothing thus far, but he knew this area was filled well; especially with all of the natural scents around him.

Fallensky perked his ears as a fimiliar feline stepped around a corner "great!" He said, padding back down the stairs; "I had the others meet up with us at the back entrance, so we can just head off in that direction." He spoke, a happy tone in his voice "when we actually start I was thinking of splitting the group up to cover more land I'll part you with Troutpaw so you can help her if she needs any other mentoring" he continued.

She heard Wintersong give out the reports, lifting her head and nodding curtly. She looked around for Graystrike and Wolfpaw, then turned to Hawkpaw. "We have to get Wolfpaw and Graystrike before we go? Can you help me find them?" She scented the air for their scents.

Hawkpaw’s shoulders slumped “I dont get why their not around, Ill get either one though.” Hawkpaw replied, he started to sniff the air, trying to scent the warrior and apprentice.“Did even wake up yet?” he hissed quietly, gazing at the dens.

foxfur quickly padded to catch up as fallensky made his way back down the stairs, falling into line beside him and only half-listening to him discuss his ideas about the patrol. "troutpaw? oh, yea, right. she could use the hunting practise," he quickly responded at the mention of his apprentice though inwardly groaned- hopefully she was in a good mood today. "where are we hunting, inside the grounds or outside?"
