Berrystar glanced at Fallensky, giving him a curt nod and a grin before replying to the
tom's question. "Ah, I was wondering about when I should send them out. Mm, let's see."
She stretched her neck upwards, bright emerald irises speeding about her eyes. "Well,
ask Troutpaw and Snowfur. And if you happen to find Foxfur, add him along." Berrystar
flicked her tail, standing. "I'll lead a border patrol with Sootnose, Fernpaw, and maybe
Vixenbriar if she's up to it." With that, the calico sent Fallensky away with a gesture of
her head.

The air aunt Mist felt still and unsettling, he wasn't used to being under a roof or between walls, if felt suffocating to say the least. But the tom continued onward, his mouth still parted for scents as he unknowingly trekked further into Clan territory.

The silver tom soon had to pause, his stomach causing quite of an aching uproar as he realized his own hunger. He knew he wasn't in clan territory (or at least he thought he wasn't) so he switched his senses to hunting. Mist perked his ears as he listened for any sense of prey, nothing thus far, but he knew this area was filled well; especially with all of the natural scents around him.

The pointed tom nodded expectantly, turning to bound off in the direction of the other clan members, first was snowfur; the white she-cat seemed lost in thought as Fallensky headed her way, a smile breaking his maw. “Snowfur! “ he spoke, “berrystar wants you, Foxfur, Troutpaw, and I to go on a hunting patrol, want to help me find the others?” He asked, glancing around to spot Troutpaw doing something by the edge of the room. “Oh… Well I guess we only need to find Foxfur” he muttered happily.
“Troutpaw!” He spoke, turning and trotting towards the she-cat apprentice “Berrystar wants you to join in on my hunting patrol!” He glanced around the clearing once more to look for Foxfur, still nowhere to be seen, he inwardly pouted, “… also! Have you seen Foxfur?” He questioned, looking expectantly at foxfur’s apprentice.

The tiny brown tabby flicked her tail, ears pricked. "Foxfur?" She asked, raising her head
to think. "Nah, I haven't seen him around lately." Her gaze spread around camp, trying
to spot her orange-furred clanmate. He might've gone off on the second part of the twoleg
place. She thought, raising to her paws. "My guess is he went up higher." She mewled,
gesturing her head upwards to the second floor of the castle.

foxfur paused at the top of the staircase and glanced down it as he passed it once again. it wasn't often cats explored these parts of the large twoleg den though he was quite curious, personally, as to what was further up. it looked so tall from the outside, surely the second floor couldn't be the highest it went.. right? only one way to find out. the ginger turned and padded into a room off to the side.

snowfur jumped slightly as fallensky approached her, mentioning a hunting patrol. for a moment she hesitated- she had never really liked hunting- but covered it quickly and got to her paws, motioning a goodbye to sootnose and following the younger tom towards troutpaw where she patiently waited for them to finish talking.

Fallensky nodded at the apprentice's words "alright, can I ask you two to meet us by the back entrance while I go fetch Foxfur?" He asked before bounding off towards the direction of the second floor stairway. Only after he started going did he realize he hadn't really given them the chance to say no.
"Foxfur? You up here?" He called as he got to the top of the steps "berrystar want you to go on a hunting patrol with snowfur, Troutpaw, and I."

Wintersong padded around the area, looking for some kind of prey she could hunt. Her gaze travelling over the stony walls and the vegetation that grew between their cracks. Wintersong sighed, she would need to go higher atleast to find a bird, and if she was looking for a mouse, she would need to search harder down here. She began to sniff, ignoring the upward option and following the faint smell of mouse.

Lilypaw stretched, just waking from a cat nap. Yawning she turned to gaze at the stony roof before padding over to her herb supply "Hm, most of the Dock Leaves have spoiled" she muttered "I guess I better find some before some cat gets soar pads on this stone" she murmured, turning toward the back of the castle where most of the wild growing plants flourished.

foxfur was forced to stop in his tracks as a familiar voice called his name. for a moment he wondered if he could pretend he hadn't heard but then sighed as he mentioned it was for a patrol- no escape now. feeling a little defeated he turned and padded back towards the stairs, poking his head around the doorway and catching sight of the warrior. "yea, I'm here, sorry. just doing a bit of exploring," he called cheerfully as he padded out to meet him. "lets go."

Fallensky perked his ears as a fimiliar feline stepped around a corner "great!" He said, padding back down the stairs; "I had the others meet up with us at the back entrance, so we can just head off in that direction." He spoke, a happy tone in his voice "when we actually start I was thinking of splitting the group up to cover more land I'll part you with Troutpaw so you can help her if she needs any other mentoring" he continued.

Graystrike sat quietly in front of the warriors den with his tail wrapped neatly around himself. He had woken up a bit late today but was glad that patrols were only just now being assigned. He was hoping to get something to do today but a hunting patrol and a border patrol were already being sent off, without him. It didn't really bug Graystrike but he was itching to do something. He may get lucky and get assigned to a patrol later on in the day but for now he was stuck in camp. Looking around, Graystrike figured that he might as well find another clan mate to pass the time with rather than sit alone until he became useful. Maybe he could find Wolfpaw and take the tom out for some combat practice.
