Sereneclan is the home of many cats who work together to keep the clan alive. Every cat has a part, from small kits to old elders. They all do something to provide for the clan. Now sit back and let me tell you the story of Sereneclan."

History of the clan
Serenclan is a clan of strong and loyal cats. But it wasn't always that way, once there was just one cat. This cat's name was Dark Flame he was a black tom and the tips of his fur seemed to be burnt, like dying embers. His eyes were a deep green, they say they could entrance a cat to do what he said. But most don't believe that. Anyways back to the story. Dark Flame had a mate, her name was Serene, together they had one kit and named him Thorn. After four seasons they had added another five cats in their little group. Serene decided they could call the group a clan. Different cats were given different positions to keep the clan healthy and make sure everyone got enough prey to keep them alive. But one leafbare night Seren died. Dark Flame decided to name the clan Sereneclan in her honor. And that was the name of the clan ever since.

~Territory and Camp~

The camp has one large cave that branches out into tunnels that lead to other caves that are used as dens.

•If you want your cat to die in an accident then PM me for permission.
•Have as many characters as you want if you can handle them.
•Romance and Drama is highly approved, but not to the point of too much information
•All Tess rules apply of course
•Do not hog all the high ranking positions to yourself! Only one high ranked cat! For example, leader, med cat, med cat apprentice, deputy...
•Deaths are highly approved! But not to the point of everyone dies and well 'too much info' during the death...
•If you're not going to post for more than 1 week then PM me or else you will be moved down to Not Active or Rarely Active. . .
•Please be active! Don't join then never post. The codeword is maple leaf.
•If you're gonna quit please PM me! You can either post that you're going to give your characters to another person, you want them all to disappear not be in the RP anymore or you want to kill them all before you quit. If you don’t say what you would like done with them I will assume that you do not care and I will delete them from the Allegiances list or give them to someone else.
•If you're an apprentice and you want to be a warrior you know...if you want to choose your warrior name please put it beside the apprentice name and then when the naming ceremony comes then the leader can well you know grant the name, if you're okay with any name then the leader will pick a name for you.

•I feel like I would like this RP to move a little more slowly and be a little more descriptive so you MUST have AT LEAST four sentences per post for now on. But if you have writers block then please inform the rest of us about that at the beginning of your post. But if you never stop putting it there then I will have to give you a warning.

•Medicine cats can not have kits. Unless they were a warrior before turning to the position of Med Cat and had kits before coming a medicine cat. But they can not have any more kits after becoming a medicine cat.
•An apprentice MUST be at least 12 moons old to become a warrior.
•Kits MUST be at least 6 moons old to become apprentices
•No Apprentice Queens!

Medicine cat herbs

Alfalfa
Used to prevent tooth decay.
Aloe Vera
Use the gel inside of leaves to cure skin problems or burns.
Ash (Tree)
New shoots are to be eaten, and chewed and applied to the bit of an Adder or Viper to stave off the effects of its poisoned bite.
Keys (seeds) of the Ash tree may also be consumed to fight the pain caused by a stitch in the side.
Borage
Leaves and Roots should be consumed to stave off fevers. Seeds and leaves should be consumed by the nursing Queen to increase available milk.
Borage should never be used dried, only green.
Bramble Twigs
Chew this to a fine syrup. It helps to sleep.
Burdock
Leaves may be chewed and applied to wounds that are clear of infection to speed healing.
Roots may be chewed and applied to a wound to draw infection from it.
Catmint
Leaves and Flowers can be used to relieve congestion and coughs.
Celandine
Used to strengthen weak eyes.
Chamomile
Leaves and Flowers may be consumed to sooth a cat and add to their physical strength.
Cobwebs
Gathered and pressed into wounds to stop bleeding. Generally only used with wounds that risk bleeding heavily as they can cause increased risk of infection.
Comfrey
Used when healing broken bones
Deathberries
Berries, or any other part of the plant, when consumed will kill the cat who swallows if they are not given immediate help, and even then they may not always be saved. Roots & leaves may be chewed together and applied to sore places, but must NEVER be applied to open wounds.
This is a poison in addition to a healing plant.
Echinacea
Used to ease infection.
Feverfew
Leaves can be used to reduce fever, in addition to being consumed to aid against colds and stomach ailments.
Honey
Used to sooth the throat. Particularly good for smoke inhalation.
Juniper
Berries ease the stomach and can serve as a counter poison. Leaves are used to ease coughs and other respiratory problems.
Lavender
Leaves & flowers are particularly good when eaten for easing pains in head and throat.
Inhaling the scent of fresh flowers can also calm the nerves.
Marigold
Leaves and Flowers should be consumed to relieve chills.
Leaves and Petals can be chewed and placed on wounds to prevent infection.
Mouse Bile
Bile from the liver of the common mouse may be harvested and used to kill stubborn fleas and ticks.
Poppy
Seeds can be consumed to remove pain and aid is sleep.
Flower heads should be consumed together to relive continuous coughs.
Petals and Leaves should be chewed to aid in sleep and improve resting.
Tansy
Leaves, flowers, and Stems should be eaten together to remove worms.
Leaves may be chewed to relieve joint aches.
Flowers should be consumed to remove coughs.
Pregnant Queens should NEVER be given Tansy, for it causes miscarriages.
Thyme
Should be consumed to calm the anxious cat, or to aid in bringing restful sleep.
Water Mint
Used to help cure bellyaches.
Willow Tree
Water from beneath the bark of the flowering willow may be dripped into the eyes to help clear blurriness of vision. It may also be applied to dry patches of skin to sooth itches.
Small amounts of Willow Bark may be consumed to ease pain, act against inflammation, and to ease diarrhea or fevers.
Yarrow
To make a cat vomit up poisons.
