She sighed "One of my boys died. Sweet kid. Then my second one, Uriah, he went mysteriously missing. My third, Fluffyfur, well, he's still alive and stuff. He's the one who's daughter and dad died today."

She purred "Of course!" she seemed to be in a much better mood.

She nodded lightly "It was pretty bad up until I met Cherryclaw, and then it was pretty nice. But now he's dead and I guess my bad luck is starting over."

"Yup! I'll have to put a cat in charge while I'm gone. Any you can suggest?" she smiled back.

"Neither can I." she chuckled. She could probably think of a thousand things at that moment.

She sighed and nodded "Thanks. I really appreciate it."

She nodded "I trust your choice. Could you notify him for me please?" at that moment she smelled a rogue and growled "Great. Hawk can wait for the moment. Follow me."

she jumped down and slowly followed the sent to a wounded tom, His front leg was badly torn. Scarlet showed brightly against his light tan and white splotchy fur. He was struggling to get up and wincing in pain.

He picked up their scent and spotted them. He flattened his ears "I'm really sorry for being on your territory, but I'm wounded and I can't exactly go anywhere." he explained quietly, obviously scared. He was handsome. His mostly spotless fur danced in the light breeze. His blue eyes, an unusual color combination for his fur color, flicked over them nervously. His fur was quickly growing to be a deep red.

"Good, and never think you're less than perfect." Kyle said gently. "Don't you ever ever feel like you're less than, less than perfect to me."

Sparrowtail nodded.
"Happy to help!"

Wintersplash padded near him.
"We won't hurt you...but could you describe who did this? And I'm sure Lou will take you in, he's amazing with herbs! Is that okay, Mistystar?" She said awkwardly, realizing she hadn't asked Mistystar's opinion earlier.

He finally calmed down "What in the heck was that about? God."

She sighed "But I'm not. I'm too fat, I have the voice of a teenage boy, and until you came along, I had pretty much nobody."

She yawned and slowly fell asleep.

He stuttered, a bit shocked "Um, this huge grey, black and white tom out of nowhere just started attacking me. That sounds nice." his tone was quiet.

She smiled lightly "Look at you! Already making deputy choices. Of course it's alright."

"Used to happen to me a lot," Del laughed.

Kyle looked at her.
"Your body shape couldn't matter less, and you voice sounds just right. And that's the past! Now is now! Don't doubt yourself. Everyone has something they can say that's not perfect about them. We're humans, I get it. I'm not perfect either, but you're perfect to me and you always will be, okay?"

Sparrowtail curled up beside her.
"See you in the morning," he yawned and lay his head on his paws, still awake.

Wintersplash tipped her head.
"Aww Mistystar, it wasn't that big of a decision," she purred softly, embarrassed to be praised. She'd never been praised before.
"I try to do what's right because there aren't many cats who will."

(okay, my hormones were beating me up last night. It was the last episode of my favorite show and my parents are all like "Well, that's the last episode of the season." so I bursted out sobbing.)

She didn't really believe it, but she smiled a little "Thanks. Same goes for you." (it is extremely hard to convince me that you don't care about how I look XD)

She woke up slightly "See ya." she mumbled.

She nodded "And this is exactly why I chose you." she chuckled lightly "But let's get this guy back to the clan." Mistystar picked him up and carefully walked with him in her jaws. He was lighter than he looked, probably skin and bones under all that fur.
