"here one second.." she said kindly as she got some twigs and tinder. "My mother taught me this.." she said as she made a circle of rocks around the sticks and got some borage leaves. She threw them in with the tinder and got a weird twoleg thing. She got one of the sticks out of the twoleg box and scraped it against the cave wall. it caught fire and she set it down on the tinder causing a fire in the circle of rocks, it starting lighting the cave, the fire dancing and waving around. "Nobody touch it okay?" she said. "Of course!" she said to FinchWing.

That's what I was gonna do... He murmured, amusement hinted in his voice. My mother taught me, cause ya' know she was a loner.

"really?" she said, surprised that he knew how to light a fire. most cats didn't know. It was an old rogue's secret that was passed down to a few cats.

Yep, we were going to travel to a new place, away from my kittypet father. She wanted me to have survival skills incase... s-she died. His voice crackling with grief, his eyes watering. We were two days into our trip, that's when we came across Pineclan territory. Something was there, something I didn't know was in the bushes. It was a cat, it attacked my mother brutally and killed her. He growled.

"Im so sorry. My mother was eaten by foxes in front of me. I ran before they got the chance to kill me..." she said, trying to make him feel a bit better.

"Well i'm going to look outside, to ee if the storm is dying down.." she said, padding over to the entrance that was closed with bramble thicket. She looked throught a small hole and saw the rain was still pouring. She sighed and padded back over by the fire. She layed down next to the heat of the flames.
